I'm currently building up an elemental set so I can complete PFudorFest faster,
but before start forging and IWing, I'd like to know, Which of the following sets will work best for my purpose:

I should also point out that, the Frugal piece will eventually be replaced with a Charged one, once I find a good one.

Questions:
Recently I bought pony cannon. I suppose I would continue 1-H until at least 400.
Playing at IWBTH is somewhat safe now, though T&T usually takes 20+min to deal with.
I use cannon when there are more than 8 monsters, and stab the remaining schoolgirl slowly...Then how can I speed up? Do I use cannon the right way? Should I save haths for Manehattan Project?
And when should I try PFUDOR?

When you can do T&T in around 20 minutes on IWBTH you are ready for PFUDOR. So i would say go for it.

After you buy some good equips it should be easily doable.
Are you using self-drops only?
You should try shops/auctions and get at minimum a magnificent-tier set.

Got it. The armors I'm wearing are half from shops and half from...Equip shop.

Well, I know that for cold mages Redwood of Destruction is the best option but, Is Willow a viable option too?
of course, compared to Redwood, Willow has better counter-resist and deprecating prof., but it also has lower cold damage bonus and elemental prof..

LARD (gloves), LARN (gloves) and LARE (full phase) are nearly just as good (difference is minimal, rolls are probably more important).
LAWD is ok too (just different strength and weakness).

You should have already started shopping (with better equips you would have already started playing @PFUDOR).
400 is way too late, at that point the recommended playstyle would be mage.

If you have a PARN, use it. A good lard these days is hard to find. I ended up buying a very expensive one. I think a PARN will be just as good. Don't go for willow, as you will miss damage. Or go willow and get all the damage perks

Now I am able play RE at IWBTH level
But still pfudor RE is still not not doable.

So, to play pfudor RE , should I try all power equipment or something else?.

remember to upgrade your shield block, I was too stubborn thinking "No need to waste materials, I'll get another one soon" in the end it's cheap compared to other upgrades and you can always salvage it back

Not only power, all slaughter - at some point 1H becomes overprotective, so the only thing you would care is damage (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

at his level he may have trouble surviving, with all slaughter. without even counting the lack of offer for those pieces. personally i don't find anything wrong with other suffixes at his stage.

Willow is for those people seeking the best possible turns/round for cold mage in PFfest (it mainly reduces the no. of imperils). However, this requires commitment in terms of damage (hath perks + infusions + upgrades) because the difference between wind/ele willow and ice willow is roughly an infusion (~25edb).

If you intend to seriously grind PFfest it'd be best to get a pawd if possible. If not, a lawd/lard should do fine (you may ommit elementalist shoes for lard once you hit/are near the proficiency cap).

no, at his level 1H is a safe bet. finding proper materials may not be so easy though, so he won't have to be too picky for a while. luckily 1H can work with pretty much anything

Serious PFfests Grinding works with a strong Lard too.

...OK, to prepare for mage, what equips should I start gathering?

Now staffs I have are this and this. I don't think they come with suffixes though.
