My big question is credits, should I keep putting them into training for Adept Learner (90/300) and Ability Boost (53/251), or should I go for some Hath Perks? I currently have two levels of Innate Arcana, but I'm eyeing some of the more 'expensive' ones with Vigorous Vitality, Effluent Ether, and Resplendent Regeneration.

Well for AL i would say train it as long you can easy afford the money for it. It never harms to get more exp. Not sure about the AB for a mage, but for melee i would say cease spending and see if you really need some more.

Well VV is a sure as sure buying, not so sure about EE, it could be good for mages, but everything else dont need it for sure. While the regeneration i dont think it is a good idea to buy that.

Been about six weeks, finally passed my first goal of getting to level 250, which from what I can tell is around when the game starts slowing down in leveling. I was just wondering, what would you do if you were me at this point? I feel like going for good/great gear is a little early, as I can only soulforge from level ~350 right now, which makes shopping a little harder. I think I'm just going to look for Exq/Mag stuff on the cheap to get a pretty good bump, still in a lot of superior stuff for both sets (heavy+1H, general ele mage).

Going forward, general mage question, which element should I focus on? Do the elemental procs even matter at higher level? If they do, I feel like wind/cold have a distinct defensive advantage...but please correct me if I'm wrong, that's the way I'm leaning.

Are you playing on PFUDOR? If not, shield should be your focus. (I have a low level forged legendary kite, which might work)
BTW, be sure to land void + (2 of holy/dark/cold/wind) strikes on monsters by infusion.

Wind or Elec is recommended. Imperil x Willow Staff is the key.

Yeah yeah! I know my request was really general, I haven't really settled into a style yet. My advice: get a good rapier and force shield and play only 1h up to level 310 or even higher. I switched to mage at level 380.


Willow had slightly less chance of getting resisted. But it's not the meta. Redwood of destruction works great for fire and ice. Great as in clearing PFfests in one hour at my level.

The real good mages use holy. Dark is also stronger. Holy is the shit.

It turns yellow the moment you gain a level at the end of a battle. I guess you wouldn't see this too often at high level.

Elemental mage is AB intensive, ~150 to unlock everything (obviously it depends on level).
If he isn't immediately switching (and he shouldn't) I would suggest to increase AB only if he is going to unlock abilities useful for 1H, otherwise it's better to wait.

i'm one of those. but only because i'm absolutely a goat to price things. therefore i started to say "do you want this? come here and make yourself a price. if i like it, the item is yours".

Most, almost all, shops are legit and the shopkeeper won't screw you. Just stay clear of any bad apple in the bunch.

Then those people should at least mention the range of price for that equipment they might like.

For example.
On EH We have 3,864,291 registered members.
and there is a seller who is expecting 100m for his equipment . but has not mentioned his desired price.
but based on past trends of EH community price of that equipment is only 1m.

So, is it fair to all 3,864,291 registered members that they all have to ask the seller price separately?

For my part I think that some of them do that to get you interested in an item, and then profit from you being hooked on it to get quite a high amount out of the sale, while it could very well be worth nothing.

This being true or not, at least one thing is sure: many players are expecting way higher than their items true worth, price displayed or not. I have already seen some being displayed at several hundreds of thousands of credits while they're not even worth an auction base price (50k). I don't necessarily blame such players though: so do are despicable because they know very well what they do, some others are just completely oblivious/ignorant.

In any case, just don't get too hasty like I did tend to be not long ago. It's very easy to get aboard the train to waste your credits.

Sometimes I'm telling myself that some of my items are priced too high, and some others too low. But in all cases I can't be arsed with updating the prices.

Hi everyone, I need some advice here.
I'm currently building up an elemental set so I can complete PFudorFest faster,
but before start forging and IWing, I'd like to know, Which of the following sets will work best for my purpose:
