Quick question to those who would be knowledged in this field:
Is it normal if I feel like my brand new Leg Ehtereal Estoc of Slaughter with 180% acc in Hell difficulty feels very slow to kill mobs compared to my Leg Tempestuous Shortsword of Balance 200%acc/20% anti-parry + shield in PFUDOR?
I'm starting to feel like I should just do all arenas with my 1H to go faster and get better drops.

Actually I find that the Bleeding is effective as I have 5-6 mobs bleeding at the same time, even while they're stunned.

Sure it is effective. Just not as effective as penetrated armour + permanent spirit stance + parry. Rapier will significantly improved your speed

unless we're speaking about a very highly forged, high-tier Leg Axe of Slaughter. in that case i guess the surplus ADB could make up for the lack of PA, and both counter-stuns and BW could take care of the half-dead monsters. just my thought though.

You also have to consider the loss in parry (so less counter-attacks and spirit gain).
It needs to be tested.

Given the new HP scaling it's possible that rapier is not as mandatory as before.

Do parry and evade rolls occur before or after block? That is quite essential to get the best out of the shield.

this is why you should have your evade as low as possible

I'd say compare 2 peerless IWs, that may give us the fastest insights. Otherwise 2days: compare DWD and T&T and FSM

Personally, I'd favor Power Balance parts to go with a Slaughter weapon, so that I'd reach 200% accuracy, a high crit chance, and I'd go for Overpower 5 Fatality 4. I just cannot shake off that pleasant feeling of a smooth playing with 200%/20%, really. Not to mention that in that case you can have a Flame spike shield instead of a Shock spike shield.

I bet it's possible with an Axe, in which case it'd hurt quite a lot and wouldn't need any PA.

- is pretty much always on
- increases attack damage by 15% and attack accuracy by 50% for 4 turns
- increases 20% counter-parry chance per stack, 5 stacks at maximum

therefore, no need neither for high ACC nor for Overpower potency. frankly, not even DW needs maximum OP...

IW are too random, if you want to compare equipment with minimal difference you need an arena, where the monsters per rounds are fixed (so variation is reduced compared to IW).
Ideally one long arena averaged overo a couple of days.

Also equipments needs to be equally forged, Axe has 50 less forge on damage.
