That sounds about right, I get 0.6 prof by doing all 3 arenas with imperil + drain (so 400+ imperil cast + ~400 drain cast).

So I see these two items in the bidding hall this week
charged cotton shirt
charged phase shoes

Currently I'm using [alt.hentaiverse.org] 80% prof cotton shirt
[alt.hentaiverse.org] 96% phase shoes

Assuming I forge them to same level, are either of those for bid items worth getting to replace one of my current ones for the charged speed bonus? If so, which one should I go for over the other (starting to get low on credits so there's the chance ill get outbid anyway)

I have 20.9% cast speed bonus atm, and mainly play PFUDOR if that helps.

as long as you still reach 0.8 prof factor, and as long as you play imperil: that's a great upgrade!
If you don't play imperil: as long as you still make 1.0 prof factor, it's a good upgrade, not great, but good.

edit: so for which one? depends on the prof factor you would reach with it.

one of them is a phase and one is a cotton so, which would be better to go for? also atm I have a prof factor of .985, if i were to forge that charged shirt to same as my current one, my prof factor would drop to .963, which should be roughly 1.87% dph decrease w/ non-imperil play assuming 60% dark reduction for mobs (not sure what the dps decrease would be since higher prof factor reduces chance of mob resist i believe?) So would that be worth the trade off?

As for the phase one, Idk what's a good trade off when it comes to sacrificing damage for cast speed.

It depends on which problem you are trying to solve. Do you need better survival in PFfest? Are the last 200 rounds of Pffest a spark-of-life-fest? Then more cast speed is your answer, even if it costs you damage. If it is more speed at difficulty below PFUDOR or in arenas at PFudor, I'd say it doesn't matter that much but probably more damage is better.

That's why I have 2 pants: one charged for pffests, one radiant for arenas. A lesson to you all: a smart boy brings two pants to battle!

hm, good to know, jsut really costly, anyway, i do mostly PFUDOR, for for PFUDOR fest i can only get to like 250 before it's either spam spark or spam healing, even in arenas I always use scroll of protection otherwise I'm spam healing.

Which is better for niten? (same ADB and the other stats are a bit better on the savage)

It's fine. Instead of Windproof, what would you have got? Another elemental or... Capacitor? If Capacitor is any useful in a Power build, I want to be explained how.

I guess A follow up question to my previous one, how does casting speed work? Is it a straight up reduction in time (spell cast time *(1-casting speed) = cast time) or is it one of those things where 100% cast speed means you cut time spent cast by half, 200% cuts it down to a third, etc? And how does it stack with haste?

Because you need mana to cast regen and heartseeker, and those mana draughts are SUPER expensive /sarcasm

Make you use fewer mana draughts? From 5 draughts/arena to 4?
