What's the recommended IW strategy for a 5 jug? I'm having some spare amnesia and my shop is still closed so decided to go for some jug.

I always go for the highest difficulty where you get 2 unlocked in 1 IW. Hell most of the time. Reforge when you don't get 1 jug out of 2 Refogre when you don't get 3 jug out of 5 Reforge when you don't get jug 5

IWing my next katana: QUOTE Unlocked innate potential: Butcher Level 2 Unlocked innate potential: Fatality Level 1 Unlocked innate potential: Butcher Level 1 The equipment's potential has increased by 1680 points! You are victorious!
207 Crystals 3.517 Credits 7x Lesser Equipment 2 Artifacts 1 Trophy 67 Consumables 22x Food 427.578.608 EXP
2.765 turns (DW style) which makes me wonder: what should i aim for on Niten? my Waki already has OP4 and even if people say that OP10 is mandatory i noted that with my old waki OP4 in total was already good enough This post has been edited by Scremaz: Aug 2 2017, 19:27

its prefix. people are under the mistaken impression that Fiery is a crappy suffix not even worth wasting credits on. something like that. not that i mind though. it still means less competition. back then i was able to afford this beauty with close-to-max ADB (bound at lv480-ish) for 50k

Explain them that in all cases it's exactly the same, since it will only affect the elemental strike's type, and even when using Imperil the max reduction of mitigation is 40% for elemental, 25% (or 30% I don't know) for Holy/Dark. I'd even say that regarding this aspect, imperilling against fire doesn't cost you one extra ability slot. OR, they all dropped the entirety of GPs on the Hallowed one and now they have nothing left for this one. I don't care anyway. Sent in all I had on this one, and sent in nothing on the previous one. I have like 100 times more chances to win. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) This post has been edited by decondelite: Aug 2 2017, 20:10

Why would a baron want a fiery prefixed rapier? Ok, it's peerless, but it's still trash prefixed. Fiery vs holy/dark means nearly 1% reduction in damage (primary damage, not counting skills and counters) against normal monster, more against SGs. MathData from here (last table). Fiery You + void + fire Strike (shock spike) + dark strike 100% + 33.55% + 17.93% + 18.60% = 170,08% Dark You + void + dark strike + cold strike (fire spike) 100% + 33.55% + 18.60% + 19.03% = 171,18% If you consider that adding 1 ADB to my rapier would increase my damage by a whopping 0.44% ((2774/50.5) / 12316 * 100) you can see how actually big the difference is between a prefix like fiery and a good prefix like demonic. tl;drHaving fiery as prefix is just as bad as not having LMax ADB, so if you want the best of the best fiery just doesn't cut it. I love the sarcasm in this one. I won't feel bad anymore the few times I'll be sinking 20MGP, because when I do it's not for 1 tiny ADB.

the funny thing is that those numbers *should* mean that cold strike + fire spike is the non plus ultra, while they actually simply mean that it's only slightly (very slightly!) better than fire strike + elec spike. i doubt mere mortals may taste the actual difference.

Isn't this how everything always end? The best of the best is reserved for the people who have more money than what they can spend, while the other can still enjoy the "good but not all around best" things for much cheaper. Your point being? Since people actually read this very thread to be informed about HV what we really want here is clear answers, math backing up reasoning, things like that. Being sarcastic because you did not know why people with three digit M credits can't be arsed to bid on a fiery rapier it's not making this thread looks good. You can just check Scremaz post for reference, he read my post, understood what I meant, concluded that super-rich people simply have different priorities and still thinks that the Peerless fiery rapier of slaughter is a fucking good rapier (which it is, just not the best, like a 50.5 ADB rapier is not a 51.33 ADB rapier, and if you have enough credits to get the latter you're probably not interested in the former).

Can you sort the prefixes for 1H? I have always thought that unless it's Ethereal, anything goes.

QUOTE(manga522 @ Aug 2 2017, 22:32) so what kind staff i should use in this stage ?
i totally understand those staff was non match-prefix type not good
but they ware cheap i think it‘s good for a high level newbie like me
It depends on which element you intend to be as a mage. I am also not an expert in this area, but I would say the following: QUOTE(manga522 @ Aug 2 2017, 22:32) for Fire mage. QUOTE(manga522 @ Aug 2 2017, 22:32) for Wind mage. QUOTE(manga522 @ Aug 2 2017, 22:32) for Holy mage. QUOTE(manga522 @ Aug 2 2017, 22:32) for Dark mage.
