No,1H player can do higher difficulty earlier than mage,I finished my first GF-PF as a 1H-style around LV380,and now with mage style I need flee before round 550. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

I really wonder how people can do that so easily.. I still cant finish a PF fest with my 1H even to the half.

i had a discussion with another grandmaster to arguments the melee and mage things

i was feel myself inferior but not anymore long way to go keep fight forward (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

you are pretty good, if you can finish a IBWTH fest with the current equipment you have, I would think its not possible witht that.

Only the lv500 uber-mages. I can reach 1hr 5 min now on PFUDOR. Oh wait, IWBTH - yeah, you're probably right.

With all this discussion on 1H melee on PFUDORfest, I gave it a shot as well.

Basically, I think Sapo84 is right: a fully-forged slaughter set + Æsahættr should be able to clear the 1h30m mark (but probably not by too much).

am I the only one, or are others also running out of Monster Chow ? ( maybe Iam not playing enough anymore )
since a Hellfest or some other quick Hell runs are no longer a option, since they need basically the same time as if you would run it in Pfudor I really have some problems with getting enough Chow for my under lvl 251 monsters ( iam even raising their levels now )

if your topics disappeared these days, they did for a reason. please avoid open so many new open ones: if you have questions, feel free to ask here. if you want to chat or discuss, there are other topics.

if you need restoratives, there are many shops which can give you potions for free. otherwise, try to reach lv100 (your build should be decent enough) and ask to sweetness overload's giveaway for free credits. but pretty much everyone started from scratch, with little credits and little knowledge.

btw, you have an answer in that Thai thread.

This one is much more out of curiosity simply because I can't afford it in practicality: seeing how the prices on Repurposed Actuators are what they are (~65k), which stats are worth upgrading and at what point short of your top legend/peerless forever-equipment at lvl 500?

How many monsters do you have? I have no problem with 50 monsters at PL 25. Actually I think I have too much food for the monsters.

Using the pony cannon basically means you can one-shot every 3rd or 4th round. Without it, the grindfest would've taken at least 30 minutes longer I think.

I saw WTS forum, some player offering free draught. One thread mentioned their stock 50k bottles or something. I know grindfest and arena dropping this but how do you get so many?

Is it by training Scavenger? I'm currently at 10/50. When it start giving surplus?

First you need to take all the free draught and potions out there. Then Play on lower difficulty until level 200 (maybe?).
I had like 1200 H draught and 800 M draught when I reached level 200 (normal difficulty until then (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) ). Now I have around 7k and 6k, respectively. I think those numbers are normal for high level players

Actually, Scavenger doesn't have that much of an influence. The monster's PL they're facing does:

Aside from this, they're also facing many, many more monsters than you do, and they probably don't use as many draughts as you do.

I wouldn't be so sure, apart from SG arenas (where I skip health draughts unless 3 SGs are in the field) I'm always using draughts.
The fact is that for mages draughts drop faster than they can use them (apart from SP draughts), so it's very easy to have thousands unused draughts around.

Melee usually use even less draughts so the difference is even bigger (but most grinders go mage so I'm pretty sure most of the draughts come from mages)

Interesting. It's true that I tend to sink draughts like hell when playing mage, but I thought that with gear better than mine they wouldn't be necessary anymore.

Draughts are dirt cheap. I bought 30k at a time and buy more when I run out (at 5k). But it has been several months and I still have 20k hp, 8k mp and 36k sp left.
