QUOTE(kuriak @ Jul 11 2017, 14:06) still can't if it has the yellow padlock, then it's locked. if it's grayed, then it's equipped. if it's both of them, then it's both locked and equipped. if it's soulfused, it shouldn't even appear.

Thats because at your level a mage is more or less just glass. Also i just dont get it why someone even use two sets, when he not even has the fragments to soulfuse them both. This just doesnt make any sence to me.

mind you, niten cannot gain prof, even if it takes advantage of them (namely, DW and 2H). if you want to go on with that style, you may want to farm them independently every now and then

I like them because they fast clearing arena with aoe damage. my default persona is DW, but my mage got better on him. maybe I just don't know how to use him. maybe now. I soulfused my katana, and he accidentally survived at random fight with 7 monster pfudor. (I forget to change difficulty) (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I plan to give my soulfused staff to my cousin via mogglemail. but it can't. I thought it can. I saw some soulbound eqiupment in WTS. i'd say destruction... but it'd be better if you could find a Willow one

high 300s, 1h heavy. Any tips OTW to 400?
And I'll note, I have a tiny fraction of the income of SidZBear, so don't go around telling me I have to spend 15m a piece on heavy armor..

high-tier Mag armors of Slaughter should be affordable. even with Savage prefix. i used them for quite a while and it was quite a solid build

Are there any disadvantages for choosing phase instead of cotton?

14m will suffice if you're on tighter budget. Jokes aside, try to get either a leg slaughter (or a savage mag with 3 PAB and ~LMin roll) or a very good balance/protection (90+%ADB or 70+%ADB and Savage). Anything else and you will want to switch to better equipment very soon. QUOTE(PersonaFan08 @ Jul 11 2017, 20:30) Are there any disadvantages for choosing phase instead of cotton?
It depends. 5 phase is usually bad and more than 2 cottons is probably useless. This is because one of the most important stat for mages is magic proficiency. This is a recurring argument so you can search this very topic for more information.

At this point I'm either wearing +90% ADB leg protection or I have it and can grow into it. All my pieces are leg at this point. I have one or two +90% ADB warding pieces as well. One or two slaughter pieces might be possible, but they may need the right kinds of warts to keep them affordable. In most cases I picked the pieces off at start prices at auction (yes, /watching/ Slobber handle auctions is a lesson in itself). So, to borrow a sports phrase, what kinds of slaughter pieces are "Moneyball" (i.e. undervalued)?

I picked up some decent gear by posting to WTB, and putting a cap of 500k per piece. you might try that and see what people are willing to unload Also, cmon man, why you gotta go calling me out like that (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)
