Yeah, you should. Dont worry, it take quite a while and a lot monsters to avoid shops at all when it comes for forge your equipment. And just remember, its a long term investment, when you got a better weapon and got it iwed, you can just salvage the old one and get most of the materials you used to forge the old one back so you can upgrade the new one. BTW some shops just like the one from End Of All Hope offer an Coupon Clipper Service, so that you can save a few credits for the Catalyst you need. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

From the wiki:

For each month paid users receive the following per slot per day:
~15 Hath
~3,000-4,000 GP
Work done by a server slot (generally a hitrate of ~50) counts towards the adopter's H@H toplist position, free archive quota (bonus +500 MB/day per slot), and mod power calculation

So 1 adopted server gets you 15 hath/day, 2 servers get you 30 hath, etc.

Spell Damage = max(1, (damage_range * spell_data * magic_dmg * critmod * channel_mod) * defense_mit)

magic_dmg = (base_bonus) * (1 + elem_bonus) * (1 + hath_bonus)

What you want is maximum elem_bonus from matching staff. Both are not matching (edit: the magnificent is kind-of matching, it's second best match for electic). The type of wood doesn't boost the element. And then from suffix either Destruction to increase base bonus or again matching element to increas elem bonus.

These two staves are sub-optimal. Obviously the Magnificent has higher damage, mainly because it's magnificent.

my advice, as always: don't play mage at your level, because with 1h rapier / force shield you can play on much higher difficulty and thus better drops more experience more drops more credits to buy better gear faster level up.

Basically I have 2-3 bindings and nothing more. I buy some scrap metal from the shop if I need them because I do not know which equipment should I salvage. Anything below Superior?

any 1H, 2H and Heavy armor should give you scraps, the amount depending on the condition. but you'd better sell power armors, since they are generally worth more than the sum of the salvaging result.

Just another question. About the arenas... should I clear them on low difficulty? Because when I face the ones with bosses and legendaries it takes me ages to reach the end...
