It would be good for you to post links to all of your equipment so that experts can give you an opinion on what to upgrade first, and how much.

i'm tempted to say EDB/MDB (if you have the budget) - prof - PABs - Evade.

as for the level, it depends on your budget and your initial rolls. as a rule of thumb, if all the gears have the same quality you may go base your investments on slot_mod (at least for armors), but not sure how to relate phase with prof cotton... and as i said, starting rolls matter a lot - since stat boost is calculated as a percentage of base roll.

btw, it doesn't give you many infos about prices, but did you try my forge optimizers? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

In its place, first I would raise all the attributes, all the equipment, up to level 5.

Then go to level 10 in: Spell Damage, Intelligence, Wisdom, Agility, Attack Accuracy, Magic Accuracy, Evade Chance.

With this you must raise the forge level slightly, and you can do more upgrades in: Magic Damage, Spell Damage, Forbidden Proficiency, Deprecating Proficiency.

Oh, and try to think of it as an investment and not just as an expense. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

But if you do not want to do any of this, I have another suggestion: upgrade a Magnificent Leather to level 5, after salvage, and then repeat the procedure again with another equivalent piece. Mid-Grade Leather and Robust Catalyst are cheap. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

No, I mean switching back to your usual mage settings, close the browser, reopen the browser and continue the arena with your normal mage gameplay.

But you're right. I should have changed reloader to all 3 tiers of Holy, and it would've been much quicker.

Is the mage build better than the melee build at higher levels? I heard it's more expensive to build but it is more powerful when the build is done? If so, does the power make up for the cost?

I largely enjoy the 1H playstyle; I can read, watch TV, whatver and have almost no worries about dieing on PFUDOR, even thought I have *maybe* 20 or 25m invested into my gear.

Power armour tends to be a fair bit cheaper than mage gear. A full set of upgrades on mage gear runs 400-600M, power armour is closer to 150M for a max upgrade.

Mage WILL be faster, by a factor about about 5. But you are spending 4-5 times as many credits to get there.

Also, getting started in mage is still 'spensive due to the huge amount of competition for pieces.

First prio isn't damage, it's proficiency as long as you haven't reached 0.8 factor (or 1.0 factor if playing without imperil). Then improve your EDB on your pants and match the other phases to the same upgrade-threshold that you got with the last level of forging EDB. And then Evade. After that PABs. And maybe if you have damage coming in even PMI.

Even when i already used silence. Invisible Pink Unicorn hit me with 8000++ attack and killed me.(my max health 8000)

Actually at the time I wanted to ask them why the choose shoes, but I felt it would seem like I was telling them they were playing wrong, which felt kinda rude so I decided against.

well, 0.6 * 1.1 = 0.66. is the prof from hath perk added in that section? i mean, what we see is the prof boosted by the perk already?
