I have add everything from staff and cloth armor what to do with (deprecating 1&2, Supportive 1&2, Elemental, Forbidden, Divine) I can't add everything so what to add and what not ? btw I am planning to play as holy mage

first, you can discard Staff Damage (the physical one). later on, even the accuracy one
second, you may need something like 100 ability boost or so
as for the rest, well...
deprecating section: upgrade imperil (both abilities), and personally i suggest also silence. not sure if magnet is useful
supportive: all, without absorb and heartseeker (which will be replaced by arcane focus). not sure which spike to pick, maybe Elec?
elemental: nothing
forbidden: nothing
divine: better smite and holy imperil. slot banish and paradise only when you'll unlock the spells. don't bother with soul fire, especially at the start

nothing nothing? for a starter, just focus on close a set. even non holy ones, as long as evade and pabs are good enough. you don't need top-tier gears. i may lend you something for a while, but i need to check if i have enough pieces for a second set

Finally decided to go mage so help me out guys

First thing first my magic proficiency is zero so how to increase them fast ? I know I need to grind but what setup and gears I need for it? at what difficultly

I'm also trying to raise magic proficiency, but since I'm in no hurry, I'm just throwing 1-2 random spells each round as I'm playing Arenas with my regular melee build. There might be more optimal ways, but it works quite well. I've gone from 0 to 200 magic proficiency in just a few days without even trying too much.

for a script i'm working on i need a link to the flower vase effect icon and i don't feel like spending one of the 3 vases i've got. so if anyone plans to use a vase any time soon, it would be cool if you could paste a link to the icon in here real quick

and the energy drink effect icon would be nice too, if there is a special icon for that

Staff: ALL but Staff Damage
Cloth: ALL
Divine: ALL
Depr1: Better and faster imperil
Depr2: Nothing, possibly drain + ether theft if you have nothing better
Supp1: ALL but Heartseeker and Absorb
Supp2: ALL
Rest: Nothing
If you have no mage gears you can't play mage.
And if you can't play mage you don't need mage proficiencies (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

Thanks for your advice. As for the heimdall robe that's the only mage gear I have right now nothing else. I got it in a hurry yesterday you can say it was an impulse buying ... was a bad purchase to be honest should have gone for a charged one (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) than again they are crazy expensive right

as for the armors, phase of heimdall or cotton of heaven-sent. when you'll be a proper mage the exact ratio between phase and cotton will depend on whether you'll play with imperil or not. for now, while you're still building prof, just go with whatever you can find. but since i sent you a couple of prof pieces, you'd better find phases for the remaining ones

slot in IA all the spells you can, depending on how many slots you have. as a rule of thumb, protection has the lowest priority but at low difficulties there's the chance you won't need spark, so your call. just try a bit. all the remaning spells (out of the 5 IA-able ones) have to be manually casted, since a mage need all of them.
Regen at the start of the quest, then simply spam Smite. Arcane Focus only when you trigger a channelling.

if you want to do some quick tests while also gaining a profit, go with SG arenas.

Also some spells like Banish, paradise and soul fire are not showing up in offensive spell area even though I assigned them in ability slots why ? Will they show up later ?

soul fire is a secondary effect that occurs automatically when using spells, and as for the spells themselves, you probably don't have the proficiency to use them, see the Prof column on https://ehwiki.org/wiki/Spells for when they unlock
