oh, alright. then it's all fine. REs aren't so trustworthy for this kind of things. for example according to REs, i shouldn't have trouble reaching 2 t/s or so (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

You should play them, exactly when you can survive them. With lvl 227 i am not really suprised, that you cant survive them at the moment.

Why? I mean you still has to level up to even play the eternal darkness and of course the dance. That alone should tell you, that it is okay dont be able to play at pfudor at your level. I mean it is really hard to estimate when a player, i dont know, will be able to play on pfudor or iwbth. Lets just say i would be quite surprised if you wouldnt be playing pfudor at level 350. Any more accurate statement depends on your equipment and how much you forge it and also on the IW of your equipment. I cant know how your equipment will be look like in the future, so i just cant be more precise.

I use good leathers and have high evade.

That way you add the damage you have removed from the staff thanks to STR and DEX from leather.
Still makes little sense to me, a 0 STR persona with clothes does so little damage that switching + using draughts + switching back and needing to replenish magic seems a very convuluted way to get the same result.

I pointed out nearly an year ago that t/s from reloader is crap for short battles since the time is floored to seconds.
The [github.com] fix is also available since that time if anyone wants to get the correct t/s.

Actually a good fix should have been 4 lines and without an additional variable, but I'm lazy and it's not in the combat loop so who cares.

- with imperil

Try to get 1.0 prof factor for the first case, 0.8 for the second.

- Innate Arcana IV
- Death and Decay (if you're going with Dark)
- Dæmon Duality
- Evil Enchantress (if you're going to imperil)

Doesn't really change much cost-wise (it won't be cheap either way).

0.68 is for elemental mage, dark/holy need higher prof-factor to compensate for weaker imperil.
You don't need to reach the best prof-factor immediately, consider it a goal.
Same should be true when deciding the slots.

(your dark prof - your level) / 2
Consider that base prof, when maxed, is your level or your level X 1.1 (if you get the perk).
So what you should consider is how much prof does your staff + your eventual cottons gave you in addition to the base one.
Example (note, you will see different values from the equipment since they will be scaled to your level)
my base prof: 528 (480 * 1.1 from holy perk)
prof from staff: 124.83
prof from gloves: 144.39
prof from pants: 166.55
Total: 963.77
prof factor: ~1.01 which is optimal for no imperil play

You need to do similar considerations and choose the best slots (and since you are neither low level or swimming in credits there's little value in pursuing perfect combinations).

but last 5 Arena i switch to holy mage with my scaring Heimdall set

And at least a single level of Quartermaster wouldnt hurt.

Grab a decent Force Shield (base block >37) and forge it to 15 or 20, aim for ~55% to 60% Block at your current level. That should already allow you to handle IWBTH or even PFUDOR difficulty. Also, to speed things up, grab a Slaughter Rapier - you don't need the Accuracy from Balance suffix anyway (you're at ~220% Hit Chance).
