not worth spending your credits on, if you ask me. especially if you're tight on budget.

Depends. Personally, I feel like getting a few levels of Assimilator would make proficiency grinding a lot less painless when I finally switch to mage (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

And thats why i train mage proficiencies alongside. Its not much effort run a daily First blood arena with a staff or cloth or cast an elemental spell now and than. But when i someday want to switch to mage, my proficiences will be ready. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

such a low pxp... (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

however, what do you need to spend for lv7? 3LG/3MG or 5LG/1MG? i ask because according a table i have that PXP falls under the Superior range, so it affects this math.

however, if it's the first case (like wiki hints) it should cost you 18LG/98MG/4HG. second case, 49LG/71MG/0HG

Is it my imagination or do monsters get higher chances for parry and evade when their HP become very low? It seems like I can beat a monster down pretty quickly with physical attacks, but then when the monster gets to just a few percent of HP remaining, it suddenly seems to get two or three evades or parries of my strikes in a row. So I'm losing HP like crazy trying to kill this one monster with about 3% of HP left. Just curious.

Just random. By the way, please use the "ask the experts" thread. No need for a new thread.

Thanks for the answer. I guess it's just another one of those perception things. Sorry, I'm never really sure where to post and usually get it wrong. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/blush.gif)

I think this is because melee is already strong enough. It's a balancing thing. It can all change in a next update. Or maybe it gets worse.

if melee was already strong enough we wouldn't be having 70%+(random statistic but you should get my point) of HV players switching to mage after level 300. every melee style is incredibly underwhelming in comparison to mage except 1H which is also slightly to moderately inferior. The only thing 1H has on mage is survivability which pales in comparison to any mage benefits when your wiping each wave before you even get hit.

aside from 1H melee in general is incredibly underwhelming. DW can be slightly decent for SG arenas(?), niten is somewhat usable in hell i guess, and 2H..... does it even have a use aside from maybe nightmare arenas?

IMO, I feel that Mage could use a moderate nerf, 1H maybe a very minimal nerf, and all other melee stances should get some kind of significant rework or buff.

edit: my main point is that mage can do everything well and 1H to a lesser extent, but all other melee styles are either specialized or garbage in comparison.
