The other one is HV - Track Drops in Battle

Edit: You can run them both. I have Track drops loading before Track Drops in Battle. No concerns.

For high-level 1H players PFUDOR is probably better (problem is mage being 2X better).

i love melee styles like 2h,1h, and dual wield so i have managed to not gather any mage gear aside from drops. Seeing people post their clear times at almost double the speed at all difficulties makes it hard to resist the temptation though.

Not really, try to restrict forging to Parry and Block for now, get some more jugg and try to replace your boots (2 PAB mag slaughter are not good enough).
If you do that and then soulfuse you should already be able to clear PFUDORFest (with haste and shadow veil).

I always play with Shadow Veil... took haste of my IA when i started getting serious about 1H ^.^

With perks, yes. Without them imo, no.

and they are also quite safer.

I do most of my arenas, at the least the 1.1-2.0 arenas. I dun care for the ones with tons of SG, takes way too long and the monster count is rather low compared to round count...

This. I quit maging and swapped to 1H around level 160. I was using elemental explosions and having difficulties clearing hell-arenas.

Now I'm somewhat wiser. I have a HUGE interest in non-imperil Holy mage, but... credits... several tens of millions of credits... >.<

Both are more than enough to play PFUDOR GF (penetrator 5 spellweaver 4 will help a lot).
Not sure if your level is high enough though.

Adept Learner training +1% per rank, up to +300% (4x) 5x Permanent
Hath Perks +25%, +50%, +75%, +100%

So for adept learner, at level 100, it's 100%, or 2x. at 200, its 3x. at 300, its 4x.

for hath perks, 100% is 2x.

the total for both is 6x, but the wiki states the maximum is 5x.

nevermind. I took a look at the formula and realized my mistakes.

Nope, strike damage is fixed.
