Depends on your crit rate, right?

Try something like ADB * (crit chance * crit damage * 0.5) in both cases and see what's best. (0.5 is kind of a guess, due to the fact that strikes and counter-attacks don't crit the effectiveness of crits in 1H is lower than, for example, magic) This post has been edited by Sapo84: Jun 3 2017, 15:11

So, I'm starting to struggle around 600/1000 PFUDORFest. Mainly in that I am taking up to 80% of my maximum health as damage in a turn, and losing as much as 50% of my spirit per round. I'm shrining every PA I get in the hopes of getting stat boosts, but I'm looking for advise on well as to where I should take my equipment, upgrade-wise. I'm largely torn between upgrading my power armors and upgrading my shield. HGW is 'spensive, but then again so are RA's... This, and Juggernaut Lv. is too low, you should try to get at least Juggernaut 4 in all armors.

PMI being..? So focus on forging block on my shield? QUOTE(Kadokura @ Jun 4 2017, 00:50) This, and Juggernaut Lv. is too low, you should try to get at least Juggernaut 4 in all armors.
I'm... honestl at a loss as to what Jnt does for me, unless having higher base health means less spirit damage taken? This post has been edited by SidZBear: Jun 4 2017, 09:54

PMI = physical mitigation Juggernaut increases your health. The healing power of draughts and Regen depends on your health, so they become much more effective (=heal more HP per tick), which means you'll last much longer in a lengthy battle of attrition like the Grindfest.

Higher Block is main priority. Physical mitigation (PMI) second. Then. Juggernaut, because it's just a matter of IW, which you can do yourself and is cheap if you have shards. Jug gives more health. Less dying therefore.

That makes sense, I guess. None of my armour I have right now I think is really work spending dozens of shards on reforging though. Maybe I should save my credits and hope for a good piece to come across one of the auctions next week?

speaking of which, is it really worth to run a PFfest? i guess so. another protip: a decent way to make jug pop out may be to soulfuse the armor, forge it until it reaches lv1, eventually resetting it and give it another try. soulfusing will allow you to have something like 3 shots (i mean, 3 lv1 potencies) when otherwise you lay have had only one. personally i was quite lucky this way

I think it would be worth it; better equipment rolls and 11% more crystals >.< I've spent way too many millions on SFing already. I'm just gonna switch to IWBTHfest and hoard my precious credits until something decent comes up on auction...

(IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) I think I asked the same question some time ago and I remember someone saying that (assuming top-tier gear) it's better to run PFfest for 500-600 rounds compared to doing full hellfests in terms of income. I've personally only ever played like a grand total of 100 rounds of Grindfest (during the Easter event to get the drops), so I can't really say anything for sure (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Nope, healing is based on base health, which is not influenced by Juggernaut. Anyway, without maxed parry and block I wouldn't do a PFUDORFest. With maxed block and parry, more jugg and soulfused armors (3 out of 5 are not soulfused, that is not good) it should be easy to finish the fest. Definitely not. You have more chance to get legendary equipment though.

Didn't know that. Then I guess having more health with Juggernaut simply means your Spark of Life won't trigger as often. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif) QUOTE(Sapo84 @ Jun 4 2017, 14:26) Definitely not. You have more chance to get legendary equipment though.
QUOTE(cirrux @ May 22 2017, 05:04) Often times the most reliable way to get the high quality equipment you want is to grind it yourself. By the time you have multi millions, money doesn't really matter (see the charged phase elec items). That's why I believe grinding pfudor fest even if you flee at 500/700 with quartermaster is optimal. I guess I misinterpreted this post. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Is there a specific target % I should be looking for on PMit, MMit, Parry, and Block? This post has been edited by SidZBear: Jun 4 2017, 14:44

Not really, try to restrict forging to Parry and Block for now, get some more jugg and try to replace your boots (2 PAB mag slaughter are not good enough). If you do that and then soulfuse you should already be able to clear PFUDORFest (with haste and shadow veil).

i don't know what you shield will allow you to reach, but i have a P-1 block one and when fully forged block is 65.7. a P one would bring me somewhere in between 66.7~67. i'd start with fully forging your shield. with maximum block you may afford not to optimize pmi too much, i guess. as for the rest, they are similar to mine (i have 75.5 pmi, 73.2 mmi, 58 parry). not that i have a clue how far i may go into PFfest, but just saying. either way, yep, forging shield is a priority. bringing it to a level similar to mine would mean something like -6~7% incoming damage.

Shadow veil, while playing 1H? I second the rest of your post, but the veil? Nope. Replace veil with SoL (because PFUDORfest) and i agree.
