Nope, I'm all Fox gear with Elementalist staff.

I don't even have any of the T3 elemental spells.

Would you mind posting links to your equipment?

I had a fox phase set which I ended up selling because it just didn't work for me.

I would think an Owl set would work better.

The proper question should be:
Joe, at what difficulty are you playing Trio? And do you need to recharge your mana through ET?

Normal, ETs are only done in the pre-SH spam if at all.

I hit 200 and two things surprised me: 1) All of the new enemies seem really fast; and 2), all of the new enemies have no weaknesses. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif) Overall the difficulty doesn't seem to have increased much, if at all, but I definitely don't see myself going beyond Heroic without doing something to dramatically increase my damage output. Maybe now is a good time to consider hanging up the Elementalist gear.

Maybe that's the reason.
At lv.200 it shouldn't be that difficult to beat Trio at normal difficulty, so it doesn't matter which spells you're using.
If you're playing at heroic or above, Tier 3 elemental spells should be better.

1. That's why I keep haste in autocast.
2. I usually distinguish monsters in 3 categories
- those receiving much damage from pestilence and die from purge because they have so little hp left
- those receiving less damage from pestilence and die from purge because they're weak to holy
- those WTF giants which don't die from Ragnarok+banish
3. Yeah, at lv.200 you should probably find EDB clothes. Even the ones with worst EDB will give you more damage boost than those elementalist with max prof.

I've just attained lvl100 & I would like to know if I should invest my APs into the Spark-of-Life tank or should I just keep my Scrolls-of-Life handy. I'm a heavy armor, melee fighter.
Should I also invest in the Haste tank? I've so far Poison, Weaken, Bewilder & Blind.

I remember vaguely there was a discussion somewhere here a while back.

I think its a real bad idea to have your Str/Dex/Agi that low for any type of build.

hi guys currently Im still lv 46, I wonder if buying a high-level weapon with good stats (ie : weapon lv 180) is a good idea ?

I know there's a penalty bonus but is it worth investing on it ?

It doesn't matter what high-level equipment you buy; the stats automatically scale to your current level.

I would invest in it. This way when you level up, it "feels" like your equipment does too. I know the equipment doesn't actually level up (unless you do item world), but its nice knowing that you won't have to replace it for a while. (unless you happen to find something better).

But it also depends on what other investments you have on your mind. I believe in most cases just using the trainer is the best investment. But if you happen to have some spare change, why not get some new threads?
