QUOTE(Stulpen @ May 29 2017, 06:28) You mean like celestial and their ability to do void attacks?
Both celestials and sprites do void attacks. Celestial damage is 50/80/120. Sprite is 50/100/150. Celestial's res to crush/slash/pierce is -25/-25/-25 (and this cannot be mitigated by crystals). Sprite's res is -25/0/25. Both celestial and sprite have -50 res to dark mages What am I missing here? What makes you say celestial is > sprite? Is it the str/dex/agi/end/int/wis? (Cel 50/50/100/50/100/80, sprite 30/120/120/20/70/60) Cel has a touch more str for the base phys attacks on mages, and sprite is a bit more squishy with the lower endurance. But, are these differences really significant when you consider that these stats can be buffed by crystals, and that sprite has better res to slah and pierce? I think I mentioned this a couple of weeks ago, but hey, doesn't hurt to repeat: Type of monster is only useful for making the name funny. Like naming a Sprite "lemon and lime". Naming a Giant "Something Big". This is the only way that the type matters. Because you sould keep monsters at PL25. And then you get 1 gift every 3 days. But not from wins, from waiting. Or, if you are a Hath baron: get PL1200+ and get 1 win per day. But those aren't kills, those are from flee. So the type of monster does not matter. Just get an Avion and name it "Flipping the bird" p.s. all names above are already used by me for my monsters.

Hmmm, this makes sense, I guess... but low PL monsters don't ever bring high quality materials. Where do you get the HQ mats with only low PL mobs? Thus far I have a giant and a sprite, PL 103 and 62 repectively. I've spent 8 chaos tokens on my giant (2 wins no kills), and 3 tokens on my sprite (6 wins 1 kill) I -was- planning on spending 10 chaos tokens on each stat (4 pips). Why 10? For no other reason besides "more upgrades are fucking expensive" lol. Very little logical thought has gone into this. And while I don't count myself a "hath baron", since January I've had adopt-a-servers and am in the top 50 each month. Plus I'm a quinstar with an old account, so I've accumulated hath over time. See sig for my activated perks etc. (Strike through means I've unlocked it, no strike through means I want it)

I didn't find it in the wiki. If I flee in grindfest then I won't get the crystals or the credits from the rounds before?

Incorrect If you flee you get everything, I believe you only don't get credits if you're killed.

What do you guys think? Or is there another monster that is better for a reason i've not considered?
I like giants, because I can pretend they are orcs and play off the whole orc-elf thing that Jpr0n has going on.. e.g. my monster 'Lean Green Elf Bait Machine'

We buy them from trainers with 200 1100+PL monsters (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) Low PL monsters are good for bindings. Very little logical thought has gone into this. Don't upgrade anything beside scavenging, your monsters will not get more win but you will have less slot open.

Since we're on the topic of monsters, two quick questions.
1. I've seen PL1100 quoted several times as the "magic number" to reach. What's so special about 1100 compared to, say, 1000?
2. How exactly does the scavenging upgrade work for monsters? 20 levels of scavenging = monster always brings 2 gifts?

Don't upgrade anything beside scavenging, your monsters will not get more win but you will have less slot open. This is true too. Like stulpen said,I like having a few mobsthat have a high qualmats chance at least, so I might go sprite, celestial, mech, and giant formy high PL mobs, then make the rest PL 25. 1-scav pip = 5% double loot chance = 1 token So 1 token = 1/20th of a monster, so 2 monsters are worth 40 tokens. So to maximise token efficency: Unlock until next unlock cost more than 40 tokens Then get 1 scav pip on each mob Then unlock (continuing to add 1 pip to each mob) until the next unlock costs more than 80 tokens Then get a 2nd scav pip on each mob. Etcetera.... right?

What percentage of Legendary drops will be Peerless, on average? I remember seeing a percentage in another thread a long time ago, but I'm not sure if the data is current/where the thread is.
Also, has anyone else noticed a drop in Precursor Artifacts? Since the Easter event I haven't had a single one, whereas I used to get one every two-three days. .85 hasn't been released afaik, so it's probably just unlucky.

1 every 474 levels or so. In my personal experience, that is. There are reports of users getting multiple peerless before level 300. But I don't believe a word. More serious: it's a very, very small chance. Somewhat influenced by Quartermaster. And playing only on PFUDOR increases the chance somewhat. But still. Very very small chance. Edit: Oh, and drop rate of precursor actifacts: you are just unlucky. Try giving karma to snowflake. This post has been edited by DJNoni: May 29 2017, 17:12

Easter event increased the drop rate of artifacts, after the event ended, the rate went back to normal. Most likely you were just unlucky.

I have a Question.
By training which i can improve chances of getting peerless/ legendary equipment instead of average, fair, exquisite.
as Quartermaster increase overall equipment drop chance. and Luck of the Draw works only in Restoratives / Crystals / Scrolls / Food / Infusions / Shards
or the answer is that none of the training does such thing?

None of the training increases the quality roll of equipment, (as I understand it), but Quartermaster gives you more equipment and in turn more chances at a better roll. Playing on a higher difficulty is the only way to increase the equipment quality roll. Feel free to correct me if I am wrong, other people!
