The spell Imperil also reduces phy/mag mitigation. Noticeable when you cast it on everything and then use OFC.

[*]Automatic proxy bidding is highly recommended over bidding normally if you're seriously interested in something. If you bid from [reasoningtheory.net] the website, you will automatically outbid any other bidders by the minimum bid, up to your limit. (You can still bid normally any time, of course.) You get a bidkey from PM and you can use that bidkey to bid from super's site, which lets you specify the max amount of credits you want to offer.
It's the system used by all the users that have proxy bid written, for example gleen18 1.058m Proxy bid after #73.

Probably it should be made clearer in the rules since proxy bidding is so much better than raising the bid every post.

shadow veil acts on its own roll. and such a roll stacks multiplicatively with your natural evade - for example, a 1Her with 0 evade could see a boost quite near to the full 25% one, while a DWer with 66% evade at my level sees lees than 10% boost. maybe this could help you to understand:

You can evade or block every attack from a monster, but parry just works with physical attacks, not magical ones.

You also need to have enough proficiency with that magic type in order to unlock further tiers. For example, you need at least 100 divine proficiency to unlock Banishment and 200 to unlock Paradise Lost.

i have 84 elemental prof, the wiki said i need 50?/500 prof, whats that mean?

EDIT: Doesnt seem i get any new spell after i put equipment till i have 150 elemental prof

You need 50 base proficiency to unlock second tier. Proficiency bonuses from equipment don't count.

Yup. Some advice you didn't ask for: Best strategy is stop mage, play 1h rapier + force shield + power armor until lv 320 or so. Then return to mage. Much faster level up, much higher difficulty play, much better drops, much more income per hour playing.

And by afk playing, he means that proper 1h melee builds are so indestructible that you can just hover on the monsters while doing other stuff (like watching a movie or whatever), since you're in no real danger of dying. All you have to do is recast Regen and Heartseeker when they expire. The trade-off is that it's a fair bit slower than a proper mage build, but it's also a lot cheaper, so take your pick.

Mage is really expensive if you want to outperform 1h. Best choice if you run a good H@H, or do bounties regularly.
