Okay, now I'm looking at switching up my fighting style a bit. I've been using Niten Ichiryu for the past 150 levels, but of course the whole "no gaining proficiency" thing kinda sucks. Should I focus more on increasing the two proficiencies it depends on or should I try switching to pure two handed for a while? Even with these two ethereal weapons dual wield is slower than Niten Ichiryu, so I know that's not a viable long term option: http://hentaiverse.org/pages/showequip.php...;key=df87f9761chttp://hentaiverse.org/pages/showequip.php...;key=67d411192cIf I were to just focus on increasing dual wield proficiency for a while, which of those two should be in my main hand? What's the best two-handed weapon for raw power? I rather like my Superior Katana of Slaughter but I'm open to trying one of the other weapons in my arsenal. I'm not too concerned about a defensive style weapon; I'm used to bleeding the enemies dry. I have an exquisite estoc, longsword, and mace of slaughter as well as an average scythe of slaughter. Normally, a rapier would be the weapon to put in your offhand, but since your dagger has higher parry chance, use that. It will gain a 50% boost in parry chance.
As for 2-handed, maces are generally considered the best of them, since their stun proc makes them a powerful offensive and defensive weapon simultaneously. Stun means monsters take more damage from attacks and they can't fight back.

Mace. An Eth Mace of Slaughter, that one would be simply the best option.

This is seriously off-topic... Sorry for that. But I still want to post it here because this is where its all happened..... About 3 hours ago I just busted my own (very old) PC that I use for years by trying to reply in this post (answering aeridus question) ... 2 hard disk got head crash and it's totally dead... (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif) And that's all HDD from the whole PC. And because of this event. I now have a new, much faster PC sitting in its place instead. After some setup and messing around, here I am again... Sound far-fetched? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) It is... I don't really understand how it turn this way either. I hope you had your important stuff backed up. :/

Holy crap! Thanks for the suggestion guys! I just cleared Endgame on Nintendo using only 3 Godly Mana Potions. o_O When I was using Niten Ichiryu I was easily burning through 8 each time. I think on average, I'm dealing slightly more damage per turn and getting a lot less damage back per turn, and the greatly decreased burden and interference makes me even faster.

How good is higher levels of "Luck of the Draw"?
I currently have 10 ranks of it and the next one costs 109,065 credits. But I rarely get even Superior equipment, and I need upgrades. I'm currently experimenting with doing my fights on Heroic, and I can't do End Game or higher arenas above hard, at least without running out of items.
Would saving my credits to raise LotD higher be worth it?

My Luck Of The Draw is 14, and I consistently play on Nintendo or higher. I mostly get Fine equips, though occasionally I've gotten Superior or Exquisite.

Doesn't sound like it's that good then (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) I can't survive too well at that difficulty on the higher arenas yet. The one time I did the Exile arena on Nightmare I went in with nothing but godly mana potions. Used them all up well before I reached the end and had to use several Scrolls of the Gods to survive. Didn't get anything good from it either. I tend to get average and fine equips on Hard, with the occasional superior. Is your getting mostly fines due to LotD, or the difficulty?

Hi, I'm looking for some newbie tips. I currently can't afford any equipment and my battle plan is... 1) whack stuff with 2h 2) cast heal if low (only spell i have) 3) ??? 4) get insta-gibed by next wave
Is there anything I can aim toward to have an easier time? Is a end/dex/agi (in that order) 2hander decent or silly?

Sent some Heavy armor and a mace your way. Didn't have anything for the feet slot so maybe someone else will donate something for that. My own question: Wiki suggests that Shields may drop with "of the Turtle" Suffix. I have not seen that. Is it true?

Higher levels and better gear. That's it. Once you get a full set of somewhat decent armor, the damage taken will decrease, and you'll get better spells with higher tiers. Also, your proficiency will increase, whcih increases how much you get out of your spells and damage done with weapons and chances to proc the special attack from that weapon style (in 2Hs case, the domino strike). As for stats, for a 2-hander, your most important stats are endurance for survivability, wisdom for mana and mana regen, strength for damage and survivability, dexterity for damage and proc chance and agility for action speed. Listed in order of importance, according to my opinion. And intelligence for mana, which gives 1/3 mana compared to wisdom, and no mana regen, so that's the very lowest stats. And of course, put your ability points into health tanks, to increase survivability, and mana tanks to increase mana pool for heals and buffs. And fiddle with difficulty, so that you get fights that don't kill you. The arenas you have access to at your level are all pretty short, so they shouldn't be that hard.

I'm thinking difficulty a little bit more than LotD... hard to tell. I actually didn't start playing higher than Heroic until after the latest patch I think.

At your level, you should focus on adept learner/ability boost/refined aura/pack rat. LotD at your level simply don't worth that much, since you will get better equipments when you advance in levels and reach more difficult arenas. I don't remember any shields with Turtle suffix. So assume it's gone....for all the good reasons.
