Hi
I hit a point where I have enough questions that I decided it's enough to make a post about:
1: I've been previously told that int is completely useless for melee. I was able to reduce the points I invested into it (back when I mistakenly thought int increases mana pool, bad habit from other rpgs) by 10 points, but not more. Is there any way to reduce it further by some means or to completely re assign stat points (aside from making a new persona) or "I'm screwed"?
Don't worry about it, just so long as it's nowhere near the order of magnitude of your other stats, it's fine. Due to the exponential distribution of attributes, you don't lose much of anything even if you have a few too many points in a mostly useless stat.
(and having a
bit of Int is good for more base spirit, which prolongs Spirit Stance by a bit)

3: Has anyone ever written a guide for new players on something like "what makes an item better than other items of the same type"? All I faintly remember from the last time I played that I used to spend an absurd amount of time refreshing equipment shop like every 10 min, looking for weapons that were both "Ethereal" and "of Slaughter" and Power Armor pieces "of Slaughter"
Bazaar is mostly useless now, if you want a reasonable chance of finding usable gears, you'll have to buy them from other players somehow.

I would be interested in that because of 2 things:
3.1: This is my current gear that I have to work with. I think the rapier of all of them is by far the best thing that I managed to snipe from the equipment shop, and (at least I'm still in the belief) should last for a while, but it would be nice to know what to look for in "possible upgrades" for the armors:
3.2 The second half is that I'm curious about it because I'd like to know the difference between "vendor trash" and items that would at least worth an attempt to sell.
Rapier is good, IW it to 10 if you can (or wait a handful more levels, find a Mag, and IW it to 10 or get someone to IW it for you).
I think power armor is mediocre below level 250, and only becomes
pretty good (as opposed to
one decent option) once you can get Mag+ Slaughters (or any-suffix Leg).
That said, you already have a usable set, and changing sets is pretty difficult for low-level players, so I wouldn't bother changing to a different style.
For cheap upgrades, look for Mag+ Power non-Slaughter. They won't be common below 300, but they're not incredibly rare either. You can also look for Mag+ Plate of Protection or Dampening; similar enough rarity, and cheap.
Don't spend too much on gear until 300+, at which point soulfusing actual high-quality gears becomes possible. That Mag and lower stuff you have in inventory is usable, but it'll be too hard to sell (and will go for too little) to be worth going to the trouble, probably.

4. Related to 3.1, I'm curious about "what should I focus on" and where my gold should be going as a still somewhat "fresh" lvl 233 player to make optimal progress. Recently I invested near all I earn (and did not spend on repair) on Hath, buying 2 Innate Arcana slot for Protection and Haste, for now I'm considering a third slot for Spark of Life, unless ppl here will suggest otherwise. As for "how much I invested into training" I'll attach a screen shot, and my current equipment has been already linked above if some of it looks like they'd need to be replaced.
Primarily, clearing speed will be most increased by getting to a higher level. Training and such helps a bit in making play easier and more profitable, but it really pales in comparison to the effects of level scaling (tankyness) and higher-quality equips becoming available.
If I were you, save your credits (except possibly for OFC, if you don't have it).

5. Somewhat related to 3.2, but I wonder if there is any other way a new player like me could earn some extra gold aside from trading away precursor artifacts (or the energy drinks I open from them) and figurines.
Getting any reasonable amount of HV income is very hard for low-level players. If you want a big chunk of income, better to do bounties or something.

6. Lastly, I'm curious if there is a special way to "grind mana draught"
Yes, ask people to give them to you for free (IMG:[
