The wiki mentions that training of quartermaster influences the drop rate of artifacts(and should influence all other drops as well) as it's rolled before anything else, but is that really a thing?
I saw many discussions of daily income when catching up with the thread, and what caught my attention was one of Superlatanium's Income Summary screenshots.
The picture showed max training of scav, LotD, quartermaster and archeologist, and on the income matter, the estimate number of dropped artifacts averaged around 8+ for a whole grindfest.
If I consider an average of 8 monsters for all the 1000 rounds, that would give 8000 possible drops, then considering an average PL of 1100, it would give a 12% drop bonus, rounding up the whole bonus to 25% just for the sake of easy math.
This would give me 2000 actual drops with perfect average RNG, of which 0.4% would be artifacts, so 4 for every 1000 drops, being 8 in total with max trainings.
The thing is, doesn't having quartermaster leveled to max slightly affect this?
I used to have 0 quartermaster and just 2 in archeologist while I played all arenas on Hell+ daily, getting an average of 2+ artifacts per day, but when I trained quartermaster to 6 recently, it completely messed up with my artifact drop rate, where some days I wouldn't even get one.
So, for the main question.
Does quartermaster affect at all the drop rate of other items, or does it actually increase the overall number of items you get daily, as the total chance of getting something increases over the chance of getting nothing at all?
An example would be a person with different levels of training doing a whole grindfest:
0 quarter/0 archeo 100 equip drops | 4 artifacts
20 quarter/0 archeo 200 equip drops | 4 artifacts(or less?)
0 quarter/10 archeo 100 equip drops | 8 artifacts
20 quarter/10 archeo 200 equip drops | 8 artifacts(or less?)
Mainly asking this to know if training quartermaster is worth it while I'm doing Hellfests and not playing only on PFUDOR for dreams drops.
In any case, does the 0.2% artifact drop rate on the wiki comes from Tenboro himself, or was it data gathered by users?

Hello all. Is HV running much slower than usual for anyone? I do not run scripts and have add-ons disabled for this site specifically. HV is still running very slowly. It takes a few seconds (seems to be a minimum of 2 seconds) between each action / click for the page to refresh. This makes going through any full runs extremely slow.

Not for me at this moment. It happens somethimes, though... Could be anywhere in the connection.

It is a bit strange since the forums and the rest of the site loads instantly. Only HV is going slow. It almost feels like I'm hitting some kind of hard coded delay. This post has been edited by Jram: Apr 15 2017, 09:34

Try using alt.hentaiverse.org. I was having some lag issues with hentaiverse during the last weeks, and changing to altverse helped. If not, try opening your task manager and see if something is eating away at your CPU or memory.

mmm... equip drops during hellfests won't be for dream drops for sure. i think serorin did some data collecting a while back and got 3 legendaries after 163 full hellfests or something like that.
i don't remember the exact % but the cannibalizing from quartermaster is supposed to be tiny. so small to the point it shouldn't matter by much. someone did the math a while back in this thread but i don't remember who

If it's really small, then I guess I can train it when I'm able to play my entire daily routine on PFUDOR, so I can get some decent drops while losing 1~2 artifacts, so I pretty much trade them for at least some HGC or HGW. What stat powers OFC?
Just got it, and in one try at IWTBTH, nothing died. Most of the time you can see damage with it, but that time was freaky.

while on-battle you can boost its effect with Spirit Stance, Heartseeker, Overwhelming Strikes (if 1H), Penetrated Armor (if Rapier user) or Imperil (if you have it). but Spirit Stance and Heartseeker should be enough in... uh... 90% of times?

What's the highest value someone at max level can assign to a single PAB?
I'm quite curious to how high the base parry, evade and resist would be and how it could affect certain builds:
-Max DEX or AGI + phase armor -Max AGI + shade armor -Max Wis + power armor

613 Which leaves enough exp to get 2 stats to 468 and 3 to 467 Or maxing each stat before increasing another would give 515, 382, 189, 21, 6
