i'm getting a decent amount of hath everyday

here is my settings
Maximum Burst Speed : 8.00 MB/s
Maximum Disk Cache Size : 1.00 TB (and seems this is way more than enough)
Static Ranges : 1307
Country : Hong Kong

And result
Trust : +1000
Quality : 2374
Hitrate : 88.8 / min
Hathrate : 27.4 / day

my quality has been riding roller costar recently. not sure what happen and why.

As far as I can tell, the formula provides an answer between 0% Base SP and 20% Base SP (for the highest ability level) as it is supposed to.

a small amount.

i'm willing to put 1TB or even more on the cache. but seems it requires a good amount of time to gain.

my quality is floating everywhere.
i didn't notice any big drops of my hitrate and hathrate. maybe they are increase and decrease a little. or maybe increasing very slowly. i'm not sure about that.

in fact, i don't care about that very much.
thought it gives me a decent amount of income, i focus on the download function which i found very convenience to use.
and i'm not turning it on 24/7. so the cache is gaining very slow (hathrate also.)

I guess static ranges average size has gone down considerably (wiki says 175MB per static range, and I'm pretty sure that it was accurate when I checked on my oldest H@H box).

Anyway, quality is pretty low, on my boxes I'm seeing

I see people saying that they let H@H clients run for only some hours per day, but doesn't it explicitly say on H@H application page that it must be run pretty much constantly? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

It says so, but people do as they want anyway. I guess 10b doesn't care as long as the overall bandwidth is what is now.

Not if they do a clean shutdown (every request is fulfilled before shutting down the client).
You get broken images because people run H@H on crap connections (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

there aren't many mobs who are specifically weaker (or at least, less resistant) to Fire strike, so it's not like it gives you that big of an advantage. but the big deal is having a prefix to begin with.

Using my theoretical stats,
45% SS
250 base SP
2700 damage
6000 max HP

250 * 0.45 * ((2700 - 6000 * .45) / (6000 * .45 * 3) / 1)

I dont even know how it should be counted, just shove that number into the calculator and it returns 0.

Duh. Spirit Shield would kick in if you got more than 45% of max HP damage. If you get exactly 45% damage then those 2700 damage would go to hp only and spirit damage would be 0.

Try with 30000 damage:
250 * 0.45 * min((30000 - 6000 * .45) / (6000 * .45 * 3);1) = 250 * 0.45 * 1 = 113 spirit damage and 2700 HP damage.
