So, my mit reduction and bonus damage would result in 2.207*(1.428*30/100+1)= 3.152 damage multiplier with gear.

My question is, is this train of thought right? Is my math correct and I can use to to compare other peices in the future? Because mobs have so low dark reduction 2. is a bit weaker than 1. but if i were to change gear around (equiping 2. would result in 3 cottons equiped) 2. could easily be better to use than 1. right? Should I use 2. anyway due to ocational mobs having higher than 47 dark reduction? Or just wait till i can get another fenir piece to repalce a cotton (or find a better body fenir peice top replace 1.)?



The math looks correct, but I didn't check it in detail. From what I've read on Dark, the best way to go is Imperil-style. In that case, it's really annoying to have a couple or even 1 monster in a round that is strong against your magic. That slows you down. And that time you lose, you can't use for grinding more credits. To prevent that, you need around 0.8 prof. factor. Your proficiency robe looks great. I don't know which slots are best to get to 0.8, but I'm certain that that robe can work for a long time. Go for the prof. cotton, I'd say.

A question about Trophies.

Until now i mainly have offered trophies in the category i was searching things (1H and Light Armors), but i rarely got something decent and nearly never somethign i was lloking for.

So, i want to know if is better to offer in "better selling" categories like Clothes and Staffs in case i drop semething good to sell.

My idea is that with Cloth and Staff haveing an high value is better to try get them, selling for a decent price and buy what i need with those money.

Like, a Legendary Halleowed Staff of Heimdall is worth a more than a Peerless Ethereal Rapier of Slaughter so why not?

I am wrong and is better to keep as i have done until now or try to find the jackpot?

here in italy we'd say something like "cala cala, trinchetto". guess it could be translated into "don't fly too high" or something like that.

whatever, personally i'd sell trophies if in big batches - better a safe revenue, at that point. if i'd feel like gambling, yep, going for mainstream items may not be a bad move. surely i'd avoid 2H, shields, light and heavy armors (too low chances to earn a good combo). even 1H is a bit dangerous. staff and cloths, well - you may still earn a bit from HGs, if nothing else...
another good move may be to go for whatever you need upgrades, but earning self-upgrades is quite hard in this game...

Not playing that much (mainly for lack time) i don't get so many tropies so i never tried to sell them.

Maybe the Ultimate ones (Sapling and above) are better worth selling?

one question:
did we only get a fixed certain player's monsters to fight for the rest of the game?

for as long as i remembered, i always meet these certain monsters series in almost every battle

so, is it because of that or because there's not other player's monster suitable for level?

no no, im not complaining because their drops always straight up garbage or anything, definitely not that. i just want some new and fresh monsters to fight

The monster that you fight change with your level but upon reaching really high levels a lot of low level monster are cut out so you get a restrict selection ending up encountering the same ones.

Somtimes a new one pop out but the more you advance the more the diversity will narrow.

For me i would like to see much less "copy-past named monsters" like "in memory\memorabilia", "Tempxxx", ShadowcatXYZ", "Mechanoid 5 of 9999" and so on, maybe giving handicaps to monsters if you name too much of them the same way, both in combact and in gift received... i think i will propose that.

dumb question: are you sure you check the proper email address? many people have more than one, nowadays. just in case, you can check which address the emails will be sent at in "change email address" section.

Thread email notifications are disabled by Tenboro regardless of your settings; it would take too much server power, apparently. (too many users)

yes, yes. the problem is another: as latanium posted, seems that tenboro disabled the whole function because of the toll it would've taken on the database. quite reasonable, i'd say.

I've shrined all but a handful of trophies, and 90% of them under cloth and staff.
As of today, Snowflake says to me:
You have handed in 9,516,250 credits worth of trophies, and I'm still kicking you in the chest... sucker!

I've gotten 3 or 4 Legendary Soggy Socks of the Holy-Toed out of all of them.
Just HGC.

That about wraps it up.

From experience... sell them.

A couple of us are working on that. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
Those temp and series numbered monsters will never change names.
It costs too many tokens to change a PL1100 + name.
Cheaper to delete them, but those guys have too many tokens invested in building them up.
