QUOTE(Scremaz @ Mar 12 2017, 13:54) the main point about said obsoletes is that there's a fair chance they are still level unassigned. as for rolls, slaughter weapons/armors kept their ADB range, but all the other stats were lower in average, so if you look only at stats you'd better look in the newer market.
gotcha. also, does anyone actually do end of days/eternal darkness, and if so, why? i tried end of days for the first time yesterday, and it took like 4x as long as the previous arenas. i did get 10k worth of trophies out of it, but that's hardly worth the stamina doing it on a lower difficulty, and it's mega time consuming to do so on regular difficulty. is there some kinda secret to doing it quickly, or am i a dumbass who's missing something here?

when i do them, usually i do at Hard difficulty to farm tokens and trophies. put together those two, plus DWD and random drops, you should be at something like minimum three tokens (but 4-5 may still be possible) and 70k in trophies only. daily. regardless of difficulty, bottleneck are SGs. but they (except Konata) are weak to Holy and Dark, so having those two strikes can help a bit. how you earn them (via prefix, IW10 or infusions) doesn't really matter.

The secret is having decent gears and high level. It takes me less than 6 minutes to do End of Days of PFUDOR. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

oh, good call on the ele resists, i didn't think of that at all. are you typically under 80 stamina then? or only under 80 on the days you do those arenas? Yep, you've got the right idea: it's not worth doing SG arenas on high difficulty, they just take too long for the amount of profit there is.

well, for me going under 80 stamina is pretty rare. it happens only when i do all arenas, which may be... uh... once per month? even less, perhaps...

QUOTE(Superlatanium @ Mar 12 2017, 17:48) Yeah, a level 500 player who uses Elemental and Imperil should get about 840 or 850 effective proficiency total. ~0.69 is the magic number because: https://ehwiki.org/wiki/Proficiencies#EffectsMitigation reduction = (prof_factor ^ 1.5) * 50 = (0.69 ^ 1.5) * 50 = 28.7 mitigation reduction Imperil reduces monsters' mitigation by 40. So, combined with Imperil, ~0.69 prof results in 68.7 mitigation reduction total. This is the amount you need to reduce nearly all monsters' mitigation to 0. [ hvlist.niblseed.com] http://hvlist.niblseed.com/See how the toughest standard monsters have ~70 elemental mitigation total, and how most of them have 68 or less elemental mitigation total. More than 0.70 doesn't help much because monsters have no mitigation left. Less than 0.68 isn't good because many tough monsters will have some mitigation left. The precise number isn't too important as long as you get pretty close, I think. 0.67 might work. This is only true for Imperil mages using elemental. Non-Imperil mages and holy/dark mages use a different strategy because the mitigation numbers are different. --- As for which slot to use: I said before that it didn't really matter as long as the player gets to ~0.68, but that's not really true for level 500 players with large budgets, since we will generally be getting very strong gears (80%+) and will forge to 50. So, given the restriction of "~0.68-0.70 prof_factor", there's usually only one or two slots that get close enough without going too high (0.71+) or too low (0.66-). But pretty much everyone else isn't rich enough for gathering the best possible gears in addition to full forging etc, which is why I said slots didn't really matter (for them). Thanks for the detailed answer. Even I fully forged a pswd, a prof cap, and with the prof perk, the prof is still 0.66. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) Sounds about right, when I did the math with my Willow staff I figured out that I need at least Pants slot for prof. I think cap can work if you have 90%+ prof in both gears, but that's really hard since you also want good mdb/edb (staff) and Charged (cotton). At 500 and forging to 50, Redwood has a lot more elem prof and so you can afford to use a lesser slot like gloves or shoes and still get to ~0.69 even without great gears, but the loss in depreciating prof isn't worth it, especially on PF.

Well, using pants would also mean losing 1.6 base EDB (and 0.3 MDB if radiant). Given that 0.66 is already pretty high it's probably a fair trade. And there's also the possibility of acquiring a peerless cap sooner or later.

But it's so charming that making mobs almost no resist. That means more one-shot sweeps. Maybe I will give it a try.

I had this problem myself when I installed HV Item Manger. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Before you do anything else, undo all the changes you have made to the script. If you need to, you can uninstall and reinstall HV Item Manager. Then: Find the part at the start of your HV Item Manager script that looks like this: CODE //-support new tag $# (count starting from 1) $cond (for condition) and $locked (return true if item is locked), $pxp now returns a number or MAX
function HVItemHelper() { // document.querySelectorAll("tbody")[2].lastElementChild.querySelector(".fd4>div").textContent = "Over 9000"; if (!document.querySelector(".cspp:not(#stats_pane)")) { return false; }
Copy this code: CODE if (window.location.href.indexOf('hentaiverse.org/?s=Bazaar&ss=mm&filter=new') > -1) { var store = JSON.parse(localStorage.HVItemHelper || "null"); var postKey = document.getElementById("postkey"); if (postkey && store && postkey.value !== store.postKey) { store.postKey = postKey.value; localStorage.HVItemHelper = JSON.stringify(store); console.log('postKey', postKey.value); alert('Reset postKey ' + postKey.value); } return; }
And paste it right under the line that says "function HVItemHelper() {" It should look like this: CODE //-support new tag $# (count starting from 1) $cond (for condition) and $locked (return true if item is locked), $pxp now returns a number or MAX
function HVItemHelper() {
if (window.location.href.indexOf('hentaiverse.org/?s=Bazaar&ss=mm&filter=new') > -1) { var store = JSON.parse(localStorage.HVItemHelper || "null"); var postKey = document.getElementById("postkey"); if (postkey && store && postkey.value !== store.postKey) { store.postKey = postKey.value; localStorage.HVItemHelper = JSON.stringify(store); console.log('postKey', postKey.value); alert('Reset postKey ' + postKey.value); } return; }
// document.querySelectorAll("tbody")[2].lastElementChild.querySelector(".fd4>div").textContent = "Over 9000"; if (!document.querySelector(".cspp:not(#stats_pane)")) { return false; }
After this, follow the rest of the instructions in the post you linked. After you are done, you can remove the code again. This post has been edited by Raye_Terse: Mar 13 2017, 16:02

Question 1. what should I keep training out of what i currently have? Question 2. what are some general highly practical scripts that I should install? Currently have Crackling Cast, Crackling Cast zz helper, Reloader (though I think it's the vanilla version), and Smart Search. Thank you for responses.

For Drop training I would say Archaeologist and maybe a couple more Scavenger. Adept learner is always quite good if you want to keep raising your level. For the rest just get what you really need, most of the training are not really that useful. Apart from that I honestly don't think most other scripts really add anything useful, but your mileage may vary, test them out and see for yourself.

Ok ...um is there an easy way to find specific scripts, I know there's a thread for scripts, but it's over 100 pages, and the search option just gives me a bunch of posts saying "insert script name here" so I still gotta search through those pages as well. (pretty sure I found it assuming it's https://forums.e-hentai.org/index.php?showt...p;#entry4029359 , but would like to know for future reference) This post has been edited by abc12345678901: Mar 13 2017, 16:58
