QUOTE(trikon000 @ Mar 9 2017, 18:45) I believe the mana management problem at the time of coming back was due to rebalancing that was done. That is why I had to switch to melee. Looking for a demonic willow/katalox of destruction will have to go onto my todo list.
I'll have to hope to get economizer on any staff if it is still a problem to help with mana management. Now that we're in 0.82+, feel free to completely ignore any mana annoyances; they have a quite negligible effect on your profit/turn, even if you use potions or elixirs frequently. (for a similar reason, you'll want to get Penetrator or Spellweaver or Archmage rather than Economizer, since Economizer is quite bad in comparison) Yeah, it doesn't feel good to use lots of consumables, but in terms of profit per turn, mana usage just isn't something to worry about.

Either cast Cure, or use a potion, or use a draught for over-time regen, or (later) cast the Regen spell for over-time regen

Not bad, 95% ADB for non-Slaughter. Could be better if it was Slaughter, but it's quite good already. https://ehwiki.org/wiki/Equipment_Ranges_HeavyIt's good for one-handed if you're that style. This post has been edited by tganimation6: Mar 10 2017, 09:33

I have a bit of crystals piled up. Should I raise some monsters to PL750? Or maybe a few to 1100+ instead? Or maybe just sell those crystal packs? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

(IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) Depends on what do you really want. ROI is awful in both cases, PL750 monster pretty much never get a win, PL1100+ is still not very rewarding unless you get to 1200-1300. For sure PL1100-1200+ is more rewarding when you open the monster lab and you get some high-grades, and you see your monster on hvlist (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) Anyway, maybe this can help CODE 01/02/2017 - PL901 - 47 win 02/02/2017 - PL913 - 47 win 03/02/2017 - PL913 - 48 win 04/02/2017 - PL913 - 48 win 05/02/2017 - PL929 - 48 win 06/02/2017 - PL935 - 48 win 07/02/2017 - PL943 - 48 win 08/02/2017 - PL951 - 49 win 09/02/2017 - PL961 - 50 win 10/02/2017 - PL973 - 50 win 11/02/2017 - PL973 - 51 win 12/02/2017 - PL998 - 51 win 13/02/2017 - PL1017 - 51 win 14/02/2017 - PL1017 - 51 win 15/02/2017 - PL1017 - 52 win 16/02/2017 - PL1031 - 52 win 17/02/2017 - PL1031 - 52 win 18/02/2017 - PL1080 - 52 win 19/02/2017 - PL1080 - 53 win 20/02/2017 - PL1080 - 53 win 21/02/2017 - PL1080 - 54 win 22/02/2017 - PL1084 - 54 win 23/02/2017 - PL1084 - 54 win 24/02/2017 - PL1088 - 54 win 25/02/2017 - PL1088 - 54 win 26/02/2017 - PL1096 - 54 win 27/02/2017 - PL1104 - 55 win 28/02/2017 - PL1104 - 55 win 01/03/2017 - PL1115 - 56 win 02/03/2017 - PL1115 - 56 win 03/03/2017 - PL1115 - 56 win 04/03/2017 - PL1125 - 56 win 05/03/2017 - PL1125 - 56 win 06/03/2017 - PL1145 - 56 win 07/03/2017 - PL1156 - 57 win 08/03/2017 - PL1156 - 57 win 09/03/2017 - PL1168 - 58 win 10/03/2017 - PL1179 - 58 win (monster is my second monster, so at least one year and a half old)

For hvlist gains maybe I should just dump them on my main cutie. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

PL750 will bring a lot of MG (which are still worth nothing) and a few HG. If you are there for credits gain monsters are not that good no matter the PL. It seems the monsters that were PL ~750 brought me HG around 20-25% of the time, while the ones at PL ~500 8-10%. Too bad most of it are metals and leather. QUOTE Doesn't she feel alone? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) At least she won't be jealous. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) I can bring her up to 1485 so she should bring almost all HG, pretty much every day, maybe even 2 times per day. yes indeed. can't be helped with 2-3 new crystal farmers (i think) i'm going by memory but i think T set the material ratios based on the frequency of the material drops? like i think metal was most common (cuz of 1h/2h/heavy. whereas wood was least common and cloth/leather was in between?) i'm personally more for an even spread (since u can pump way more double gift chaos into them that way) once a monster hits 1k+ the PL feels wasted (since u don't get any more double gift bonuses) so unless that PL above the 1k is garnering u insane amounts of wins relative to the double gift every 3 days from an even spread.... edit: https://ehwiki.org/wiki/monster_lab#Distribution_Ratio mmm i guess it's 2:1:1:1 anyhoo, throwing random numbers it'd basically be something like https://ehwiki.org/wiki/File:Crystal_packs_vs_PL.pngroughly 577 crystal packs for the 1500pl roughly 25 crystal packs for the 750pl 1x 1500pl yielding roughly 12 HG mats a day vs 23x 750pl yielding roughly (actually, how many materials would these babies bring back? not sure now... but they'd have 75% double gift and roughly 25% chance of high grade every 2-3 days?) damn that 1500pl does look not bad now... why am i spending hours on this stupid game, I just wanted credits to download a gallery lol.
Actual questions:
1) At ~lv130 getting tons of rando equipment drops, some superior and a few with fancy prefixes. Should all the stuff I'm not going to wear go straight to the salvage bin, or is there reason to hang on?
2) The wiki is a bit unclear on this, but what are the actual benefits to leveling up the forge?

0) May Snowflake have mercy on your soul (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) 1) At that level (I heard) you either can use the stuff or you sell, or you salvage. There is rarely anything to hang on to. 2) Your Forge level determines the maximum level of upgrades you can forge. That is, not really important enough, especially at your level.

1) Sell unwanted superiors in the bazaar for credits. Salvage crude, fair and average gear for materials which you'll most likely use or maybe sell to other players later on. While you're still below 300, save up your Exquisite drops to sell/share to fellow lowbie players 2) Using the forge, you can increase stats with a minimum of 25 times (25 levels). Forge levels increase that up to 25 more for most stats. Forge level for main damage is twice that (50 levels at the start with a maximum of 100) This post has been edited by -Shun-: Mar 11 2017, 02:57

Slightly more general, how necessary is it to work Spark of Life into my buff rotation. As it stands that would be pretty rough on maintain my mp, and I don't currently have the ability points to spare. Can I leave it as just something to use when slamming my face against IWBTH/PFUDOR brick walls?

You could also skip it and play on hell/nintendo for a bit until you have enough ability points to spare. You can also increase ability points by leveling up Ability Boost under Training. Also, don't forget there's people who give away mana draughts for free for players at your level so check WTS threads for those shops. Speaking of mana use, if you're casting buffs while Spirit Stance is on, you'll only use 75% of the total mana cost for said buffs. This post has been edited by -Shun-: Mar 11 2017, 04:06
