Its been awhile since I've given back so without quoting a lot of question posts I'd like to share my battle tactics for magic users.

My thanks to all the experts here and other's pm chatting helping me build this
Elementalist character.

Most Important is Endurance and that is a good Defense!
I just made it thru ROBlood vs Invisible Unicorn costing 144 actions without using 1 potion!

All cloth armor (preferring ones with Mitigations)
Weapon that has Ether Tap (at least 25%, above 33% better)
Abilities that promote Defense and then Offense (Listed in order of importance):
All 3 Tanks & Potions, Staff Spell Damage, Cloth Castspeed & MP, 4 Elements
Better: Haste, Spark-O-Life, Protection, Shadow Vail, Absorb, Stronger Spirit Shield
A Spike Shield covering your weakest mitigation(spell defense).
Better Regen, Better Cure
Very Important: Weaken! Better Weaken, Faster Weaken
Ether Theft, Better Drain, Faster Drain, Soul Fire (replenishes health & magic[mana])
Better Imperil, Faster Imperil, Holy Imperil
Ether Theft only work once target is Soul Fired and is easier to get with Holy Imperil.
I recommend getting at least 2 Hath perks of Innate Arcana; Haste & Spark of Life.
Once Hath perk is gained that ability slot & Ability Points can then be freed up for other abilities. 8D

just a question. you play as holy mage and slot abilities for all 4 elements? or you play as an elemental mage (which element, btw?) and while you're at it you cast also ether theft spells? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

plus, if you're referring to the fact that once you purchase an IA then you can free all the APs given to that spell ability, you got it wrong. they are still useful to reduce mana upkeep. give it a try.

Probably even a mediocre 1h build would outperform that.

So I just briefly logged in with a friend of mine’s acc because she was being regionally blocked (US-E) and now my HentaiVerse is reset. Completely blank, back to level 1. Already deleted all cookies and cache from HentaiVerse, E-Hentai, and a certain secret, similarly spelt site a certain pony doesn’t want us to mention, didn’t help. The galleries and all work fine (except I have to redo my settings every time I log in), just the HentaiVerse appears stuck on that other person’s, unused player state. Halp plz. :c

I'm pretty sure sharing accounts is absolutely forbidden, so I wouldn't be surprised if this is a result of that. From my end, your profile still shows Level 407, but I don't know if that's due to update delay or if you aren't actually logged into your own HV account.

On hentaiverse.org , check your "ipb_member_id" cookie. Is it 1330250, or is it some other number?

If your account was actually intentionally reset by the boss and this isn't just a technical issue, the only thing to do would be to PM the boss to see if there's anything that can be done.

It had to do with access to the secret site that was restricted by CloudFlare or something. Apparently there are lots of users with that problem; check on Reddit and the secret site login addon for Chrome. What need would I have to ‘share’ anyone’s account? Mine’s got everything I could ever want. |3 I really just did it to see if the problem was on my friend’s end or on the site’s.

It does read someone else’s ID. I wonder what happens if I just plug my own ID + MD5’d pass in there.

Editto numero due de per fako Italiano: So prior to manually making a cookie with my ID and hashed password, I flushed them again, and now everything’s back to normal. Apparently the 27th cookie wipe was magically different from the 26th and all before in that it now works. Thanks, though!

No special addons or external scripts are required (or useful) for getting access to galleries and such; if you installed one, I highly recommend removing it and then changing your password ASAP. Using them is a very easy way to get your information stolen.

I’ve always been suspicious of that, but AFAIK the plugin I’m using is open source and hence unlikely to rob one o’ account info without people throwing a fit over the sneaky code. Sad panda just remained sad w/o it, cookie manipulation or not. :'(

cookie manipulation does not need anymore when you have permission from panda site.
so if you can into panda site, remove sad panda plugin.

if you delete browser cache, first login to forum and then go to panda site.
vise versa, you will meet sad panda.
but still not need sad panda plugin.
just delete browser cache and then login to forum.

So, I had an odd thing happen briefly, and I'm wondering if it was a glitch, or some kind of intermittent thing I don't know about.

Earlier I went to the Shrine after a run, and my bubblegum and flower vases showed up in the list, along with my (one) pony and trophy. The sudden change in number of things in my list immediately stood out, and I was confused. I did just buy some of both, and it was the first time since I accepted them from MM that I went to the Shrine... I even clicked on one of them to see if the Shrine dialog was different, and it appeared to accept them as trophies. I *didn't* offer one, so I have no idea what would have happened if I had...

Anyway, just went to the Shrine again after the last RE, and they don't show up anymore.

Any ideas? Should I report this as a bug?

I didn't get Tier 3 Holy spells till fairly recently level ~300, I've been playing as elemental since after 1st month as 2-handed. Thus about 5 years.
RE: Which Element? Um all 4 as attack spells in order of proc afflicted monster. Example Flame causes Searing Skin (Resistance to Cold is lowered), so I then attack next with Cold which causes Freezing Limbs (Resistance to Wind is lowered), so I then attack with Wind...which causes Turbulent Air (resistance to Elec is lowered), so I then attack with Elec... which causes Deep Burns (Resistance to Flames is lowered), soo ....around I go till death. Throw in a Holy to get Sole Fire and then Drain to get Ether Theft and reg attack to get Ether Tap.
Always keep Ether Theft going via Drain Attacking while awaiting ~14rd cooldown.
Cure when needed and use Mystic Gem to cast 281pt Arcane Focus for 1pt.
But I first hit all the monsters with Weaken and Imperil after protection and shadow veil myself.

Yes they are useful, but not essential as the slots needed, Haste (autocast1) ability slot (Row2Col1) was replaced with Faster DRAIN, and SparkOLife (autocast2) ability slot (R2C8) was replaced with Better Drain. I don't have enough to buy more Supportative Slots so I took them from Haste and SparkOLife.

It's not that great but compared to what you have now it's pretty damn good for dark mage.
Your current one is prefixless so you will see a pretty big difference (and the IW of the new one is fantastic).
I would soulbind it.

You have a mix of abilities but you're not focusing on a single element, the result is that your damage is low, probably lower than a melee fighter.
And Earth-walker suffix is completely useless.
