It's a nice staff, but not as nice as a current peerless would have been. Still, you could use it. But you could also consider selling it in auction, I think you can get some millions for it even though it's mid-range EDB MDB nowadays.

Some EID < 100m, is still current, last change that infuenced equip was around 92m. And then not all <92 equip sucks. You can use equipment comparison script to check the rolls against current equip. But most old equip suck. And then there is << 100m or obsolete tier / suffix / prefix. That could be valuable for collectors. Ask Scremaz for advice on those matters.

That weapon is an axe. Axe stinks, I'm affraid. A half-decent rapier will outperform that axe.

market for obsoletes is quite stagnant nowadays. surely, there are some evergreens, but i guess you should check case by case. even le me who's actually looking for oddities as well (thus has quite a wide range) has little space available, so i have to choose what to pick and whatnot.
i can evaluate a list of obsoletes if needed though.

I figured out why PFfest felt a bit harder last couple of days. I simply ran out of scroll of life! I'm off to the WTS to restock. I died a lot after round 750 without those, and with those I die only sometimes in the last couple of hundred rounds.

Yes I do. But in the last 200 rounds of pffest that just isn't enough for me. I keep dying anyway. The scroll kicks up the health to half-way after sparking, and that just gives me enough time to get spirit and mana under control. Maybe I should be playing IWfest instead, but I like PFfest better. Less mindless hovering.

For me, it's more than just convenience. It's a foolproof aswell. If you forget to renew scrolls or to recast, IA won't.
Overall, IA ensures that I won't be sent to Oblivion due to a mistake of mine, on top of being very convenient and freeing my mind to focus on the actual battle rather than on the buffs.

yep. It's realy a big difference. Without scrolls in last 200 rounds: die 3 out of 4. With scrolls in last 200 rounds: die 1 in 10.

Did you set hover_area to something different than 1, for an example "custom1"?
And then right click on the mob_icon (where there is written mon A, mon B, etc)?
I tried it just now and it works.

Rhydin recommended I improve Staff Prof to max out Coalesced Mana to improve my Mana usage.

At Staff Prof of ~46, I was at 30% Coalesced Mana.
At Staff Prof of ~154, I was at 35% Coalesced Mana.

Now I have tediously marched to ~203, but the Coalesced Mana hasn't moved.

I take it 35% is maxed?

And is there a purpose to take the Staff Prof further up to player level?
