If your aim is to play only arenas and hellfests, as a wind mage isn't it better to get a Redwood staff rather than a Willow one?

Why would you think that? Because it's cheaper? Because the better the match the better the results. It's all about return on investment, realy. I'd go for matching.

Cause it has a lot more elemental proficiency in comparison and hellfests are not that imperil dependent. So it makes it easier to get 1 prof and just go in with normal casting.

Elementalist staff and 5 radiant phases (4 + prof shoes for hellfest) let you have the highest magic score, so it should be better for just SG arenas and hellfest.

How much faster is IWBTHfest against PFUDORfest?

Is ther somewhere a list how many crystals drop in a certain difficulty with a certain crystanium hath perk?

You can check my results I posted in the 'last thing you achieved' thread, I made a comperison. I have Cryst V, you can calculate back from that. The multipliers are in the wiki. Cryst V Pffest is 50 crystals per drop after round 500. IWBfest has 43 (I think). Hellfest has 32. my overview (GS thread)

Edit: oh - faster! For me that's just a little bit: 10 minutes or so on 1,5 hrs. But so much less elixirs needed on IWBfest, and I regularly die on PFfest.

Yeah, that's what I thought. I use to do one hellfest per day, however intend to raise the difficulty. PFUDOR really needs more draughts or elixiers that's why my intention was to try IWBTHfest instead. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I did one bounty this week, when I accepted it was 3.6m + 1400 hath, and now that I've claimed and the work has been done it's only 2.6m + 1400 hath. I guess the bounty owner can't help it, but it feels unfair. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) Looks like it's possible to withdraw a bounty support even after the thing has been accepted!

I'm not sure about melee, but for Imperil mage, IWBTH-fest is far faster than PF-fest. IIRC, income per turn was around 1.3x higher in IWBTH.

when i use Dovahkiin title, do i lose the 100 damage bonus?

For 1h/heavy IWBTH and PF have more or less the same clear speed (a little more than 3 hours for me).
500 rounds for Nyten/heavy has a big difference instead, considering that even pass 400 rounds in IWBTH, skyward kills 5 enemies in 2-3 hits and you easily imperil the remaining 3-4 enemies for the finish, while in PF, it goes from 5+ to multi resists and even with 74.5+ mag mitigation and 68% in holy they start hurting a lot.
I have been told that Dovahkiin estoc clears are better done on PF, so I GUESS they have similar clear times.

The damage and evasion bonuses are lost, yes.

If you don't have gear that allow you to play on higher difficulties easily and want to play on higher difficulty it fine, but... look around and tell me how many people you see with that title and how many with the Godslayer. That should tell you a lot.

I'm not sure about clear time though.
With Imperil I'm pretty sure willow still comes out on top, for hellfest I really don't know, on dark mage willow is still better than katalox, but willow has 8 EDB advantage for dark, it's quite possible that for elemental mage no-imperil redwood is better.
Still, it would be easier to go dark/holy for hellfest.

Did the bounty owner reserve the bounty for you? I believe once they "reserve" (changes the status to a light orange rather than the typical "blue" of accepted) the bounty for you the funds are locked in. That's why I use that reserve function now that's it's been implemented. Protects the hunter.

I take it back, I was wrong (just tested). Perhaps it's only once a "real" claim has been put in. So Closed/Reserved (reserved) = can still adjust. But Closed/Claimed cannot adjust (no longer given the option to adjust bounty quantity) Guess it'll have to be strictly honor system =(
