I was wondering about scavenger perk (no i don't plan to buy it right now) The game clearly states that it increase drop chance by 1% co with 50lvl that's 50% increase, so by simple mathematics it should give 15% (from base of 10%).
But wiki and forum says the max is 12,5%. So it means that all levels above 25 are totally useless(since you reach a cap). Or there is some convoluted formula for this?

I'm taking the dive with lousy magnificent pieces, but experimenting none the less.
What are the primary attribute ratios for Elemental Mage?
I know it's in here somewhere, but most of you know it by heart.

Misc
- The global base non-upgraded drop rate for random monsters was increased from 5% to 10%. The fully upgraded drop rate was increased from 10% to 12.5%. ( from here)

Maybe you got me wrong. Didn't he ask about gifts? I get gifts everyday not win count.

Yeah, from my data collection at least, gift frequency is only slightly higher than win count, at least for my 1000-1100 monsters. I think Pl 25-700 monsters all generally have the one automatic gift after 3 days of not winning a battle (and they rarely win battles), but with higher Pls that sometimes win, that doesn't kick in so often.
That's gift frequency, not gift amount though. I have some Scavenger upgrades (and you probably do too) on higher Pl monsters so they get double gifts often enough. Maybe that's the issue.
Also, I think there's a significant difference in win frequency with low Pl changes, past 1000. Haven't done the math, but a casual check of my 1080 monsters vs my 1017 monsters makes it seem like the 1080 monsters generally have ~1.5x the wins or so.

QUOTE(arialinnoc @ Jan 18 2017, 19:14) I know that. That's why i said that both wiki and forum said it's 12,5%. What i ask is how it's calculated since if you get 1% per point, you will maximal of 12,5% with 25 points. And every point over that is simply useless, since it will go over cap. I mean both wiki and game states that QUOTE Scavenger +1% Base Loot Drop Chance but at the same time it gives formula where it's clearly not 1% but 0,5%. That's what got me confused. Or simply: Does Scavenger perk gives +0,5% bonus, and text was simply not corrected both ingame and wiki page? This post has been edited by mapokl: Jan 18 2017, 22:34

I'm guessing it's the that, and the value in the text was simply rounded up to 1% to make it seem bigger (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

QUOTE increased from 5% to 10% I guess the 1% in game statement refer to old drop rate (5%) and doesn't get fix. QUOTE(Superlatanium @ Jan 19 2017, 03:16) the 1080 monsters generally have ~1.5x the wins or so.
^This. (my >1000PL mobs are 1200PL+)

QUOTE(abc12345678901 @ Jan 18 2017, 01:25) So, how good is spirit shield? Assuming I'm reading the formula on the wiki right it seems pretty good. Is it a skill i should always have up along with spark of life?
It depends on the difficulty you play at. It will only ever be useful against single powerful attacks, not against accumulated attacks in a single round. I have its ability at rank 4 right now, and in Hard difficulty it barely is ever useful against some spirit attacks. Consider this thing as an option to avoid having spark of life kicking in due to accidental very bad luck. Or to play at higher difficulties, in which case it will not help against accumulated moderately powerful attacks. Oh, and I don't use it against Flying Spaghetti Monster. I certainly prefer muting him regularly: it's much safer and doesn't consume spirit.

At PFUDOR Spirit Shield is absolutely essential. And Draughts are so cheap that who cares about consuming spirit.
