Penetrator + Archmage(only for Destruction Staffs) or Spellweaver

Need some recommendation for playing on PFUDOR? I wanna beat DWD on PFUDOR.

I did it yesterday with similiar equipment, 1H Shade, still your shield has pretty bad block.
What you should do is abuse draughts while shooting Imperil on SGs, stay in Spirit Mode and hit them hard.
It's going to be easy but time consuming.

Get a Slaughter Rapier, damage will be key to take down all those HP-heavy schoolgirls. Also forge your shield's block (at least to 5, preferably quite a bit more).
Make sure your battle item slots are filled (HP/MP/SP Draughts, Potions & Elixirs) and be prepared to spend A LOT of time on the ordeal (my first PF DwD run took me ~2h with 1H Heavy set).

Now that I checked the wiki on IW, both IWBTH and PF give the same pxp modifier o.o Is the wiki not updated or is there another reason to do IW in PF vs IWBTH?

that breastplate is quite outleveled. it means a certain loss on stats. if it has good rolls, consider to soulfuse it. if it hasn't, consider to replace it.

PXP are exactly the same. reasons to do it at PF are the usual ones - higher EXP, chance for better drops, chance for higher credit drops, blah blah. but mitigated by lower multiplier if compared ot arenas and with monsters hitting quite hard, so i'd suggest you to optimize time/PXP ratio and do it at IWTBH, especially for longer quests. but your call.

PXP are the same, but EXP are not. Other reasons might be better drops, lazyness, bragging rights as well as clear speed (PF can be faster than IWBTH in some cases).

but in your case we're looking at a pre-0.81 piece (EID is ~56M), so all its (unforged) stats will be lower than the correspective on wiki. how many soul fragments do you have?

I have enough to soulfuse it (701). But I am still considering if it's worth it.

Much faster to check, especially if you check a lot of different stuff.
I even use Percentile Ranges too.

+25% speed at PF means more counters for 1H players. So long as increasing monster strength from IW doesn't really threaten you, PF might turn out to be faster. It is of course highly individual and by no means the norm, but it is known to happen.

Then maybe Spellweaver or Archmage or Annihilator for survival or damage.

Eco needed only if you are poor low level mage.

I wish there was - which update was it that took the wind out of you-know-who's sails? Before the update, just about all large mob PFUDOR round was a potential death trap, now meh.
