I honestly think City Hunter is a bit too old school, in particular the anime (the manga is probably still good though).

Mirai Shounen Conan is a fucking masterpiece and was good when it was created, it's good today and it will still be good 20 years from now.
Miyazaki gets too much credits for his films and too little for his tv series.
