QUOTE(issary @ Jan 1 2017, 16:58) New version-too many legendary drops-too cheap legendary-richers no place to spend their credits-buying trophies for fun
just a sudden raise so no other chances for such price to raise then? QUOTE(nobody_xxx @ Jan 1 2017, 17:03) yeah , plus we talking about rank#1 H@H toplist all time here (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) sorry to say it sir, but this doesn't add absolutely anything to what Chraunzen and Ishimaru already stated (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif)

QUOTE(mapokl @ Jan 1 2017, 23:15) For one reason or other I started playing as elemental mage a while ago. I can win at hell, but that's limit. And even on hell i'm randomly oneshoted. And from what i gathered melee is the way to go.
I tried reading some wiki, but it didn't go well. Equip and spec are one thing, but i totally don't know how i should actually fight. Should I try to keep all buffs, or only some? Attack all time, or switch with defend. When to use other abilities etc.
I know i need to grind this proficiencies but i don't know which are the most important. Any advice helps.
My advice: 1. Get a rapier. A rapier of slaughter if you're lucky. Or of ballance. An exquisite. Or even a magnificent. 2. Get heavy armor. From cheap to expensive: Power of warding, power of protection, power of slaughter. And a force shield with high block and DEX. 3. Attack. Attack. Attack. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. 4. Then get a script to do step 4. for you. MouseMelee. And Reloader. 5. Attack builds up Overcharge. If full enhough, go Spirit Stance. And continue with Attack, Attack, repeat. 6. Keep up the following buffs (as soon as you have them): 1. Regen 2. Protection 3. Spirit Shield 4. Heart Seeker. 7. Use ability points + make sure you equip those abilities in the bar above. Have fun! Edit: no, you don't have to grind any proficiencies for this play style. That goes automatically while playing. Oh, and you could save 600k and get the OFC. Look it up in the wiki, it is nice. This post has been edited by DJNoni: Jan 2 2017, 00:27

At higher levels I think mage is better (and definitely if you have high ping). You want to have the Spark of Life skill up in order to prevent you from getting one shot.

Sure thing, you'r right - but not below level 320 as a minimum. My advice: wait until lv 375. This post has been edited by DJNoni: Jan 2 2017, 00:30

QUOTE(decondelite @ Jan 1 2017, 17:36) Actually, the best way to boost magical proficiency is to play a Power set, as it is the equipement that gives the highest interference. I'm having 100 interference right now, so it gives 150% mana cost, thus 150% chance to proc the proficiency gain. Furthermore, doing so helps a lot to activate the expensive support spells (regen/heartseeker), as it increases the chances to get Channeling procs.
Is this true? I'm trying to increase my elemental prof and dear lord it is really slow to do so, slow compared to raising staff prof. Is there a good way to do this? I'm currently using my cloth set (surtr) with an average oak staff, while using Freeze as my spell, I can handle the the mana cost with draughts but I've been grinding for 2 hours and I've only gotten ~10 prof (which isn't a lot for me...). I also tried out what Decondelite said and my mana ran out *very* quickly, no draughts or potions could help me, so I don't know if it's worth it. I run out of mana by the time I do 150-160 turns in 1-3 minutes. The only way this would be convenient is to flee and recover mana, start crude IW, deplete my mana and repeat. Would this be recommended?

This was true in the past when mana restoratives pretty much filled your pool and cost nothing, but now, if your spell costs are high, you'll have to use mana potions, and being forced to use potions and elixirs just to increase your proficiency is a little expensive. If it were me, I'd prefer to balance my cast speed and interference and such so that mana regeneration from draughts is close to mana spending from spells (don't use expensive spells). It'll take longer, but it won't be extremely wasteful. I'd prefer not to use mana potions, or flee-recover and restart.

bosted 2 monsters up to level 1104 and i i'm getting gifts at the same frequency as my garbage monsters. definitely not worth boosting your monsters when you can sell 200+ crystal packs for over 7m.
niten is also going to be put on hold for a while since the damage output is just too low till i heavily forge it compared to my 1h slaughter.
DW is looking pretty decent though. what do you guys think about clear speed when comparing DW vs 1h for grindfest. i obviously cant test it out yet since my dw proficiency is only 250 but my dmg is already higher than my 1h slaughter.

QUOTE(doom9ra @ Jan 1 2017, 20:20) Hi all!
What of low quality worse to bazaar and what is better to salvage if im lazy and don't want to check every price by myself? selling with item manager.
Now im bazaar all items lower than mag,and mag+ im checking price.
my way is lazy and doesnt worry about min maxing profit but what i do is bazaar anything that isnt mag+ wood or cloth. i usually know if a legendary is worth anything and if i determine it isn't i bazaar it as long as it isn't cloth or wood. mag+ wood = salvage cloth = salvage everything else = bazaar around lvl 400 you should start to know what legendary equipment is worth keeping, salvaging, or bazaar.(if you arent sure if the legendary is trash or valuable then ask in price check) there are a few exceptions around your level. some mag power armor, slaughter rapiers, force shields, and xxx phase cloth might net you around 50k. Is lower PXP better because it is easier to get it to tier 10 or am I missing something?

In conclusion, PXP also should be included in consideration before buying an equipment.
