fire is cheaper too ~ I'm sure full radiant surtr is cheaper than jenga radiant heimdall robe (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

If its around the same because of imperil then I guess fire would really be the best because of the cost for that kind of performance. But then I'm an ice mage kind of guy (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

how comes nobody mentions Mystic? for example, what about a Fiery Oak of Focus with full Mystic Phase of Surtr? it shouldn't be too bad against tanky mobs...

Only radiant affect much in arena,others....at least not worth pursuit if you only play arena.
But you got big advantages if you clear last three arena with holy/dark,and wind is better than other three element.

Wind/elec have willow,fire/ice only have redwood,if you use imperil it affact a lot,similar roll LFWD performs better than LFRD with high grade fire set(radiant with 25 forged iirc) so if I caculate right you can get a stronger wind/elec set than fire/ice with same credits now.

I think mystic is quite good for non imperil holy/dark (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

for imperil , anything going down really quick (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)
