holy mage at hard difficulty. about the time, uh... not sure. maybe 20~30 minutes? i'm pretty sure i can do a RE before starting and another one after ending it

I didn't record the ADB for each screen, but at level ~377 I had 7500 ADB, at level 400 I was >8000.
Between the fist and the second screenshot I also purchased daemon duality (around level 370).

28~30 mins with my 1H in DwD (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

17~19 mins with my dark mage (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

Anyways, how do mages survive? What's the main thing you need? To increase survivability. My 1H/shd Power build has 70% Physical, 63% Magical Mitigation, 61% block and 48% parry.

My mage build, crappy one, doesn't even reach 50% P/M damage mitigation, 32% evade, 0% block and 37% resist.

What am I supposed to focus on? I'm guessing evade probably. How do you think I should increase my evade chance? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

I remember a conversation in another thread before about how DwD would be worth increasing difficulty for. Even if its not PF. I think it was DJ who mentioned doing it in IWBTH since he gets more profit per time spent compared to PF.

just thinking about the time needed for that feeble chance makes me want not to do it. back then there were people who claimed that Legendaries rained on REs and FSM/TT&T, i found 5 or 6 in total until now iirc. and only a couple worth selling.

evade, cast speed, MDB and EDB. if a mage has the time to cast spells, then there's the chance he can do something good. otherwise, he's a mere peony who is just waiting for which mob will rape his ass more but hoping it won't hurt too much. sad but true.

mainly, by forging Evade on your armors. then, by forging AGI on your armors.

I would say:
damage, damage, damage, casting speed, EVA, PMI.
Casting speed is imho more important than evade and pmi (that's why ice spike shield is pretty good).

Anyway, Chraunzen's stats are pretty low, a decent mage should have at least 60% mitigations and 50% evade, otherwise the incoming damage will be too strong.

You can also mix it, you're not limited to having 3 charged or 3 radiants.
Just get the best you can find without overspending (150+M for leg radiant heimdall for example).

I would say a couple of radiants will help a lot, in particular if you're using an oak staff instead of katalox of destruction.

Arena or GF?Charged almost useless in arena when you are high level,for GF I suggest element(wind/elec for willow),high grade(near peerless phase and near fully forged) charged wind and radiant holy mage have similar turns when clear pfudorfest but holy need several times more consumables.

err , your casting speed will reduce once you soulbind those two cotton (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

depend on your budget ~ if you have more than 200M * radiant is great for holy (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

but you really need ALOT of credits to get great radiant heimdall since you will fight some very rich player like jenga , crono , frank , void , midnight (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)
