I just won my first golden lottery ticket.
I've read the following cut and paste a thousand times:

I read this to mean the following.. correct me if I'm wrong:
Hard core lottery item - Members have bought 300,000 tickets before I get there.
I glide in and buy 19,900 tickets.
I use a golden lottery ticket.
This gives me 20,000 tickets.
But the golden lottery ticket doubles my amount to 40,000 tickets since it is less that 10% of of the 300,000 purchased.
Am I correct?

If you buy 19900 tickets + use a golden ticket, the amount is going to be the min value between [ 10% of 300000 -> 30000, (19900+100)*2 -> 40000], so your ticket count is going to be 30000. My goodness, you have even more draughts than I do! (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) 32 of 35 post are requests - you have been very diligent in collecting freebies, haven't you? Seriously, what are you going to do with all of them? More you play more will drop, you might be consuming more than you earn (draughts and pots) at the moment but soon your own drops should overtake your consumption - permanently. I donate my draughts to shops giving out freebies and what remains grows back to nearly the amount that you have, that's while playing minimally. |

i'm not interested in judging what he did, but in addition to what's already been written: - that's quite the stock. really not bad.
- you're not supposed to play at IWTBH at your level. i mean, do what you like, but you'd better lower your difficulty. otherwise, of course you'll be one-shotted: you simply don't have the means to do such quests yet.
- many of the posts latanium linked have similar IDs (at groups): in two words, it may seem like every now and then (i don't know exactly how often, nor i'm willing to check every single post) you did something like a round of requests in every shop. one time is not even worth mentioning. neither two, if it's for that. but doing it regularly, uh - it can bring to something like this.

Sorry to pop in here while you guys are having this discussion, just wanted to know whats the difference between using of slaughter vs of balance if say, i have better stats on the level 160 of balance compared to a level 100 of slaughter? is it just the attack bonus, or is there a better reason for using the of slaughter despite the differences in stats? Thanks!

Thanks! Sounds like the Balance is probably better. Slaughter is good, but it's not so good to overcome such a level difference. https://ehwiki.org/wiki/Equipment_SuffixesSlaughter gives only ADB. Balance gives only accuracy and crit. |

Yep, GLT has scaling efficiency from after the 200,001 ticket until maximum efficiency on the 400,000. So yes the cap of your effective ticket pool will be capped at 30,000 tickets when the pool is 300,000. Some lottery sages think the tickets is broken and doesn't work as intended, rng will always be rng (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) . |

Having played this game for a long time but never really looking deeply into the mechanics, I have a question (or several questions) about the magic spells for mage builds.
Which tier of spells should I focus on; 1, 2, or 3? It also appears that mages should focus either on the 4 elementals or holy+dark, which one is generally better?

Always use the highest tier spell that isn't on cooldown. Holy/dark is the best no-Imperil style, but expensive. Elemental is cheaper, and goes better with Imperil. |

holy is the most expensive equipment in HV so far especially with radiant prefix (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) elemental ~ wind and elec is the most popular while fire is less popular and cheaper gear cost (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) |
