QUOTE(ppp82p @ Dec 16 2016, 15:07) As a 1h user I can't even imagine lowering my difficulty below pfudor (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) even as a 1H user i can't even imagine a single reason to do SGs above Hard difficulty - unless you don't have a hammer at your fingertips, obviously.

QUOTE(gianfrix94 @ Dec 16 2016, 15:50) Is it worth it to do SGs Arenas at IWBTH/PFUDOR? Or should i just keep doing them at Hard?
Here's my own experience and thought process when I play HV: At first, I want to play in the highest difficulty I can handle (like ppp-chan). Nintendo, IWBTH, PFUDOR, you name it. I've always thought the more challenging it is, the more rewards you will reap later. After some time playing, I get bored off the face of the Earth, to the point that I don't even wanna play just to clear SGs arenas to farm some trophies (and sell them to blackjac00) So I take a look at Supes' advice and try it out. Swooshing through the SGs arenas a hell lot faster and it's more fun to play again. Also according to his statistics, it's more efficient credits earned/time spent. (Love you Supes (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/wub.gif) ) Still, Supes's already reached level 500. So he kinda forgets this point: the higher the difficulty you play, the faster your power-leveling becomes. So if you're fed up with your level ranges because of some reasons (can't soulfuse gear, crappy gear, wanna buy better gear), you switch to higher difficulty and proceed on torturing yourself with hours of HV gameplay. For SGs arenas: 1. Credits farming -> Hard difficulty 2. Power leveling -> higher difficulty 3. ??? 4. Profit

Well, another question now. I have this waki: Magnificent Arctic Wakizashi of the NimbleIf i want to use it as an offhand in DW, would it be worth it to IW10 it, or should i just use it like it is and wait for a better waki? This post has been edited by gianfrix94: Dec 16 2016, 16:29

Wait for a better one. If on a good day, I'm somehow compassionate to your Ilya avatar, I might even put this one to Supes' next auction for you to get it: [276] [Legendary Ethereal Wakizashi of the Nimble]Originally I wanna keep it for self-use, but since sometime ago I already bought this inferior one: [0] [Legendary Ethereal Wakizashi of the Nimble] [Price: 0 c] I still feel like keeping it. Since I'm not short on credits right now.

Butcher tolerable but sub-optimal - but if it pops out and you have at least one of the other two, don't bother resetting it. you won't keep it for so long anyways.

For SGs arenas:
1. Credits farming -> Hard difficulty 2. Power leveling -> higher difficulty 3. ??? 4. Profit I think I remember looking into this before, and the SG arenas are actually pretty bad for XP, especially the first two SG arenas. Even though they have a slightly higher XP multiplier than lower arenas, there are three huge problems: - The SGs themselves give significantly less XP than standard high monsters
- The SGs take many times longer to kill (so rounds take much longer)
- Monster density per round is low in comparison to earlier arenas (but past a certain point, there's also at least one SG per round, so the round still takes a while to finish). Few standard monsters means low experience gain, and few standard monsters in a round also means less XP gained per stamina spent.
DwD is better because its XP multiplier is the highest of them all, and monster density is fine, but the first two SG arenas aren't so good, neither for XP nor for income. But I haven't looked at the XP stats in a while. I stopped caring about XP after 400 or so. If someone else wants to log some stats on it, feel free

For what it's worth, I use the [The Trio and the Tree] Arena when I want experience. The rounds go by pretty quickly without SGs mucking about, and the Sapling is a nice bonus.

I concur with Scremaz, since in Super's Auction 36 a same type of Waki with better parry was sold for 115k you can hope for 100k.
