just curious here , it's a good option or not to upgrade crushing mitigation for mage ???

- Crushing Lv.5
Crushing: 42% / Piercing: 38% / Slashing: 16%

- Crushing Lv.25
Piercing: 40% / Crushing: 39% / Slashing: 16%

Not good, but cost for upgrade to lv.15 is cheap.

I'm imperil style charged set wind mage.
It get less damage than non-imperil style mage. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

I'm not too sure it'll be worth the investment. I'd assume the most common standard attacks would be Piercing type, as they exploit the weaknesses of both Mages and Shaders. Therefore, Crushing Mit would only apply in less than 1/3 of the attacks at all. It may hold some value against high PL giants, but I'm not too sure how much of an issue they really are with low AGI and WIS (-> low speed and resist).

Basically, for defensive options I'd go with Evade and pMit first and only worry about Crushing Mit after that.

yes.

How much is the difference between drops at IWBTH and PFUDOR?

PFUDOR gives something like double the legendaries per monster compared to IWBTH. Other drops are slightly better too; PFUDOR always drops Superior+ while IWBTH often drops Averages.

Right now i'm running a 2h/Light Armor setup because i read somewhere that's a good build for starters. Now i have 2 questions:

• 1st: Is this the build to go for my current lvl or is it better to switch to another build?
• 2nd: When is the time to switch my build (e.g. when do i get "uber skill 1" so it's advantageous to switch?)

Yes, that's probably the best style for now.

Consider switching to 1h between level 150 and 200, that way you'll be able to deal with the much greater incoming damage from the high PL monsters that will start appearing. (You can keep the leather armor for a much longer time, though)

Get a weapon that has slaughter suffix for bigger damage. And you only get weapon skills up until 100 proficiency, no more skills after that. You still get some passive upgrades afterwards though like splash damage% increase for domino strike with 2h or increased amounts of counter attacks for 1h.

you should use melee style at low lvl , wait till lvl 310 to change into mage (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)


2H is good for lvling up to lvl 200 , after that change into 1H (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Mage at low levels isn't optimal.
Also, AGI is a bit too low.
STR can be left at 0.

And...you need phase matching your element for mage.
Cotton is ok, but only 1 or 2 pieces, and they should match your element.
Elementalist and Demon Fiend can't be put together (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Your build should be cold mage, so arctic (willow or redwood, redwood is better, but willow can still do at your level) staff of destruction/niflheim + 3/4/5 phase of niflheim + 2/1/0 cotton of elementalist
