I think you just need to plug it into the forge formula on the wiki, and then divide by 1.1? for having Butcher 5.

what elemental strike should i be looking for strictly grindfest. i'm thinking electric cause most of the high endurance monsters have either bad or average electric resist but a lot of people say that cold is best for melee cause it meshes well with the best spike shield(fire). what are your opinions on this?

While having a holy/dark weapon is quite useful on SGs, against standard monsters I think element is pretty unimportant. The extra strike damage is only something like 20%? of your total damage output, and even then you're looking at a difference of 60?? average mitigation vs 50?? average mitigation, or something like that. (the reason element matters on SGs is because holy/dark means the difference between 75 mitigation and -1 mitigation; it's so much larger, and is worth paying attention to in that situation)

If I were you, I'd rather look for a single quality holy/dark/[ethereal+holy/dark strike] rapier, so you can forge up only a single gear; it's so much more efficient.

(also, EDB does nothing for melee; extra strike damage is physical, not magical)

After completing my slaughter set and replacing my shield i plan on getting 2 new rapiers. going to get a dark/holy rapier for SG arenas and then a better % and element rapier for GF

Holy/dark rapier is fine for GF,after iw 10 void strike will taking up a majority of all your damage output,and monsters have lower average holy/dark resistance than elements.

thx guys, i'll just throw my money at the next 80%+ holy/dark rapier i find after i finish my other gear. if that dark rapier in the current auction doesn't go too high i might be able to snag that one but it is almost perfect ADB so im expecting it to be a bit out of my range for now.

If he is doing grindfest he will probably use an elemental infusion anyway (100C and lasts 15 minutes, for 400C/hour they are cheap enough that it's worth using them all the time).

Way less.
You get the following benefits:

• support spells cast faster
• support spells last longer / support spell cost less
• better cure

First two parts are always nice to have but are not that important (probably shave off a few casts of spells and a couple of cures), and if you use scrolls are pretty much useless.
For the cure parts let's start by saying that regen is not affected, for the normal cure spell the difference between 0.1 prof and 0.58 prof (perk + peerless oak forged to 50) is:
You are healed for 9360 Health Points -> 0.1
You are healed for 11500 Health Points -> 0.58

This on my mage persona (22285 total HP + VV perk + jugg25).
My base HP is 8914 HP.

Today I did one hellfest and 500 rounds of IWBHfest:
Hell: 235k profit
1/2 IWBH: 230k profit - but this was a bit faster so IWBH beats hellfest.

But I think that the profits from the artifacts aren't taken into account correctly. I first shrine, and then evaluate.

I thought that 200 rounds of PFest would yield less per hour, because I need to cure a lot and Imperil doesn't stick as well. I will try it one time.

Quick update from my experiments of today:
1. PF Arenas (no SG) 205k profit 359k/battle hour
2. Hell SG DWD 81k profit 590k/battle hour
3. 500 rounds of IWBHfest 126k profit 220k/battle hour (31 min)
4. 400 rounds of PFfest 127k profit 215k/battle hour (35 min)

No legendaries. One magnificent in PFfest. It wasn't a good drop day.

From my findings, I maybe should play the other 2 SG-arena's on Hell as well. I don't play the lowest 2 SG-areans at all normally. But maybe I should.

And between IWHBfest and PFfest? The same!

I took a look at both, and the Savage one has everything better apart from the ADB, so i'd go for the Savage.

Try to win it with a good bid.
Since it ends one hour earlier if you don't win you can then bid on Super's auction (just go to the bathroom and bid by smartphone if you can't use internet at work).

I mean, I can get 2 levels per day right now, but that'd involve completing every single arena, and also participating in hardcore PFUDOR REs... Ain't nobody got time for that (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

My problem is, I take a long time to complete Nintendo arenas, usually 20-40 minutes per arena (2nd page), so by the time the 30 mins has passed (for REs), I'll still be stuck in one arena, and then I'll forget about the RE and start another arena (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) this happens a lot. Nintendo T&tT was so super long and boring that I gave up on it halfway and missed 4 hours of REs because of it, my clear speed sucks (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/faint.gif)
