The only difference is that Force needs DMM too, from lv 1. The other shields don't.

61% here at lv25. i don't think i'll ever go much again. my shield was originally a L-1, so i guess to end at 64.5~65 is what i can do at best. and every further level upgrade will cost me something like 80k or so. thanks but no thanks.
nah. reach lv25 and quit it when it starts asking for Coruscatings, it's already a very good improvement.

Yup.

A LMax or so Shield with DEA goes for 1 million or more usually (paid 1.05m for mine, and some guy paid 3.9 for his (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) )
A 37-37.5 SDE one goes for the same amount.

Both LMax and SDE can go for 10M+, sometimes even 30+ (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

If you want a cheap SDE (50-150k) you should go for 36-36.5 (quite low), and mid-high level (400-450) (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

i thought about switching to bucklers of barrier too. but i invested too much in this shield to come back. and it has a certain affective value as well (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wub.gif)

with the current market, depreciation etc etc, i'd be happier to find a cheap DEA P-level block shield to soulfuse and use now rather than a decent SDE whatever shield that i may or may not sell in the future.
also, i'm pretty positive that at your level 1 STR = 1 ADB, so you can still live without. most likely you'll be damaged more by the presence of AGI roll rather than the lack of STR

if you ask me, SDE are tremeneduously overvalued. first thing to look in a shield is block. then comes PABs and levels. but if it's a temporary item just to buy time while looking for an endgame one, then just pick whatever comes with a decent block.

well, if it comes with really high block and other rolls, pretty close to my level and for cheap i can trade END for that. to trade DEX it has to be a Peerless coming from bazaar or so. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/cool2.gif)

Just saying, but Unindex proposed in my WTB first page a pretty good already quite forged Leg Force Shield of Protection with SDE pabs, level 285.
Now, i don't know how much he wanted for it, maybe too much even for you, but you could try asking him.

Well, considering that Leg Shields always come with 3 PABs, your objection comes down to Mag Shields only, that are likely to offer non-optimal block to begin with. After level 300 or so, there's really no reason not to go with a Leg shield, unless you're on an absolutely tight budget and have no Soul Fragments at all.

On a side note, I'm still looking to sell this shield - good enough for temporary use and way cheaper than 1m or whatever sum came up throughout this discussion (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)
