I don't think its close to perfect, your losing 20 (or 30%~) magic damaged gained via the low PABs.

Just stopped using 1h + light after reaching 300 prof on light armour. The biggest problems for me were the magic and sp attacks that somehow manage to hit me.

This is why I think light armor is a bit better than plate/power for low-level players, at least before 250 or so. With heavy armor, Sprites and Celestials with SP attacks can oneshot you before level 200, which is a serious problem even with Spark to save you. After level 200, you can start using Spirit Shield so you don't take so much health damage, but those attacks will still hurt a lot and be difficult to manage. Light armor is better at resisting those attacks, because resist.

Heavy armor is somewhat better at defending against physical attacks, but so much worse against magic. (and also heavy armor decreases your damage output if you have more than 70 burden, which is quite likely at lower levels before players are using mostly Power) But it's better to take constant moderate damage than to sometimes take slightly smaller-than-moderate damage and sometimes take huge damage due to magic attacks.

The other thing is that the main benefit of heavy armor, which is the ability to use Power, only becomes a significant concern after 250 or so, when decent quality equipments start to become available, or at least seen on the horizon.

Currently, scaled int/wis is around 105 from base ~7.3; close to Lmin. Were int/wis Lmax, the scaled stats would be around 121.

You're right. In the population of Radiant equips with near-perfect EDB, this one is on the lower end, and it's taking a bit of the edge off this being a Radiant.

Finally got around to unlocking Silence from 0.2 depreciating proficiency after reading these posts, thank goodness for SpellSpam (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

I know it's good for bosses, but what about for general use? I can do IWBTH arenas just fine without it (up to trio at least; I'll challenge end of days today), but the jump to PFUDOR is pretty harsh. I can do PFUDOR RE's without worrying about failing, but I need to use Last Elixirs as a crutch during PFUDOR arenas (highest I've gone PFUDOR is Dark Skies).

Do you just cast it on everything in PFUDOR? The 10-turn duration seems a little limiting at minimum proficiency, so I'm thinking just keep a group silenced and kill everything else first?

That's kind of why I've stuck with light so far. I spark fairly infrequently in leather in IWBTH so my spirit draught/potions can keep up with it, but I'm flying by the seat of my pants in my (albeit mediocre) power set where I cut it close even with elixirs. I tried a PFUDOR RE in my power set and I just barely scraped by; I burned through my potions+elixirs+last elixir with little progress and would have failed for sure without OFC bailing me out. Don't bother with SG arenas except on Normal or Hard or so, they take ages and give little in return except for trophies.

Silence takes (real) time to cast, if you're playing efficiently, you should only be using it when absolutely necessary - like in Ring of Blood. In other cases, standard monsters die too quickly for it to be of much use.

After you can clear pufdor arena,you can get about 300k-400k income every day(with SG,crystal perk V but it only affect about 50k per day,full drop training it will be 500k).
