At the moment I am holy mage (and with very low appropriate proficiencies still), but am I right that in the current situation you can buy dark mage gear very cheap? I am not sure whether I will be switching ATM but I think it would be nice to have additional set..just in case of future patches, for example.

I am especially interested about the willow staves - do elementalists use them ? I presume that they have a much higher cost if they are used by elementalists, as opposed to the few-and-far-between dark mages.

yep, they are suggested for Wind and Elec afaik. Redwoods of Destruction are good choices as well, but not as good as Willow of Destruction. don't expect either of them to be sold for cheap though.

It doesn't really matter, elementalist will want shocking/tempestuous willow, dark mage will want a demonic one.
Anyway, a dark mage good staff is up there with holy staff in cost.
Not cheap at all.

Phases/clothes are maybe a little cheaper, but that's it.

Level < 150 can get a free average protection set(with 1h/2h)&potions&scrolls in ArbiterErii's wts,pretty useful for newbies who does not have full set equipments,remember equipment level will be assigned to your current level when you equip it.

Not sure if you're trolling me or not, but for melee it would be the AD-crit%-crit dmg, then Mitigation values, then parry-block-evade

For mages it's Magic dmg - crit, then spell dmg, etc

In short, strongest as in "highest offensive power". With reasonable survavibility ofc

where it says "Potency tier: 0 (0/359)"
at the end of every run you'll earn a certain amount of points (depending on difficulty). you can calculate it beforehand, but let's say you'll earn 140 points per run at a certain difficulty.
divide those two numbers and you'll earn 359/140 = 2.56 ~ 3. you need 3 runs to unlock that potency.

note that the denominator tends to grow quite quickly, so the number of runs will raise as well - especially at low difficulties. it will be a very long quest at your level, and i don't think you have any gear worth it. if you only want to do one run or two to add a couple of levels and earn a few EXP it's fine, but don't lose your sleep on this yet.

I think you are right, it may not be worth me doing it. All my items are damaged anyway. Throwaways, until I can get enough resources to fix my gear. Currently I am only trying to spend credits only on Training (Adept Leaner (11/300) and Quarter Master (2/20)), though I have bought a lot of Mana and Heal pots which seems like a waste now.
