i suggest you to avoid it. best payback is given by single gold star. tristar isn't simply worth it.

How do you guys calculate this lmin-lmax thing for gear? I can't understand the stuff in the equipment ranges page in the wiki (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/faint.gif)

Current lmin-lmax base on wiki was obtained through statistics,most Lengendary equipments will get its roll in this range.

Ranges are directly there in the wiki.

How's this applied to calculating the min/max rolls of a weapon level-wise? Like @ level 300, a leg. rapier of slaughter's ADB can be anywhere from x to y.

Are the base rolls from lvl 1 to 500 and you just add the min or max by quality? And no idea what to do with the multiplier

We actually talk about the base roll which can be scaling to any level.

Here is how it works.

Or you can hover your mouse on any value,it'll show the base roll.
And there are scripts can calculating base for you.
Multiplier is old thing,make an example,lswd can get 16.47-18.56 edb and multiplier is 0.0804,it means a lswd can get 18.56/18.48/18.40....16.47edb

Read a couple pages on the wiki that make it sound like magic proficiency can improve your resist to that element, is that true? Like Divine levels will give you some resist against holy attacks, so there's a reason to rank up magic skills even if you don't use them? Dunno if that's outdated or just plan wrong, but there isn't really a mention of it in game.

Yeah. When trying to figure out absolute stat quality, ignore the displayed stat, and only look at the base stat (on hover) - then compare that base stat to the base stat ranges.

Yeah, maybe I worded it badly? Making it seem like mitigation instead of chance to resist (Or however it works). That's what I meant. Basically my question is: Is there a reason to grind Divine/Forbidden if you don't use those damage types.

No, counter-resist is useful only if you are a mage and using that element.

Well I have a holy enchant (Hallowed) on my weapon, probably shoulda mentioned that. Sorry, I'm sleepy. Would raising Divine help reduce the chance of enemies resisting its damage?

you don't calculare roll ranges, you directly read them from your gear's popup. and they aren't affected by levels, only by forging and eventually IW.

how a certain roll scales from base to your level is a whole other thing, and you can calculate with that formula on wiki or by interpolating base values with values at the level you have.

No, counter-resist only applies to spell resist, since you're a melee fighter there is no resist on strikes.

in IWBTH RE difficulty how big/small percentage to get peerless equipment ?
I get platinum ticket should I sell it to StonyCat or shrine it again(I already do it past month and get crappy Mag equipment)
