After liquidating most of my rainy-day money, I finally bought DD. What would be a nice goal now? My HV schedule consists mostly of REs; EoD; and ED; so I was thinking "Enigma Energizer" since it is another direct damage increase for a relatively low cost. In terms of daily Hath drips, anyway.

I don't think EE is useful perk for melee ~ that perk is better for mage (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

not so many info actually. but if nothing else joe was kinder than what he uses to be.

either way, at your level 2H + Leather should be a bit safer but if you want to go on that way (high DPS against single target / high parry) you may have to choose which path to follow. i suggest you either Rapier of Slaughter/Balance/Nimble + Waki of Nimble for high parry or Club of Slaughter + Rapier of Balance/Nimble for high damage.

I even sent an MM to him once, and he read and ignored it.

uh. well, PABs are fine. absolutely assign Light HP/MP ability. ADB boost from Shade may be nice, but you'll also suffer from the lack of piercing mitigation. and not even a single one of your armors has END, which is another bad thing. i'm tempted to tell you to look for a full set of Leathers...

Why does there seem to be so much cloth stuff? All auctions seem to end up loaded with it, and all 6 of my magnificent drops so far have been cotton as well. Is there something that makes cloth drop more frequently or is this all just some kind of a coincidence?

I don't know, maybe it's a coincidence, but most my drops are 1h weapons, leather and cloth (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

Well, all phases plus 3/7 of the cottons are useful.
This alone is a good advantage.

Also many cloth/phase prefixes will make clothes with bad rolls sellable.
A charged phase with LMin roll will probably sell, possibly even a frugal/mystic one.

On the other hand for heavy armors we have:
- plate all unsellable apart from shielding of protection
- bad rolled power will not sell at all if level is high and suffix is not slaughter or prefix is not savage

At that point it's much easier to sell the equips instead of keeping them in the inventory/try to sell for 20k in a shop/send to an auction knowing no one will bid on it.

Auctions contain more clothes because clothes have higher chance of being worth 50k, it's that simple.
You see very little leathers because most of the leg drops are crap not even worth 50k.

I know it doesn't have much in the way of attributes and it's only Exquisite, but at least it'd be cheaper to soulforge lol. Most my gear is Superior-Exquisite, so I'm always looking for improvements.

It's quite decent; rapier, has prefix (+~20% damage), good suffix. If you can't find any other Mag prefixed rapiers with useful suffix close enough to your level (which is quite unlikely), go ahead and soulfuse that Exquisite and forge it to 5. Having a solid soulfused weapon is the #1 priority for any player who's leveling quickly.

you can simply equip it and let it run for a few levels. at your level the loss in stats will become visible after... uh... i guess 10 levels or so

Signs of "teasing" can be recognized in a lot of tags (mostly no penetration sex ones), but no one is always equal to teasing (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
