However, I only play a few RE everyday. Never touch Arena/GF/IW.

here is my current situation :

-i can get 1.68 prof. factor with my curent redwood staff (see signature. it's a 80%+MDB, 90%+EDB with Lmin elem prof. staff)+ a decent cotton cap + prof. perk.

-someone told me use willow instead since it has CR + deprecating prof seems make me easier to imperil.

-but willow has lower EDB and lower elem prof which drops my prof. factor to ~1.62. i'm not sure worth or not.

-assume i barely have the budget to do that. and if i doesn't change anything i can do other stuff with those "unused" money like get a deprecating prof. perk / IA4 / crystarium1 / give it to poor player like nobody nvm. nobody is rich.

question : does change into willow worth? if not. how to i spend the "unused" money? i guess i saved at least few millions by NOT doing that.

Err, from the conversation above, I'm under the impression that cotton robe doesn't sound that good.

I remember I did some calculations back then and found out that with cold destruction redwood and cotton robe, I could reach 0.65 prof factor with some prof forging on staff and robe without prof perk while only losing <5% of raw damage in the process. Which sounded pretty good to me.

Always play on IWBTH. If you can't play on IWBTH, you probably shouldn't be IWing in the first place, since it'll take too long.

I have tried IWBTH only a few times, and was TRASHED other than one run on the first arena level, an d I burned all my good scrolls and such just to barely squeak through.

OK, I think the answer is clear, but just to be sure, what I was asking about was the scale for receiving Primary Attribute points, not the scale for cost. I saw a number of screen shots of folks at similar levels that seemed to PAs at levels I couldn't reach, but I probably just wasn't looking at it carefully.

You recieve more exp(to raise PA) in higher difficulty but the exp required for raise PA is same in all difficulty

IIRC it's really not hard for very low-quality gears, which are usually the only ones low-level players have access to. There just aren't enough rounds for damage to ramp up much, and base damage is usually quite low due to low base PXP. Sometimes it's doable.

But the issue remains - if a player can't play on IWBTH, they shouldn't be IWing in the first place, it's not worth it.

currently one noodly is worth 40k. plus 5k from other SG trophies and one random token - regardless of the difficulty. and a (presumed) high-quality roll drop. basically, 45k, one token and a gamble.
though if you're interested only in tokens it's quite a bad way to use your Bloods...

on IWs only, i guess. btw, arenas should be easier to play on IWTBH than IW.

I have IW'd two Legendary items on Hard/Nightmare thus far. It took me days if not weeks since I would only chip in a dive or two a day, depending on my motivation. If one is patient or frugal like me, I vouch for self-IW'ing. Otherwise, I would suggest looking for an IW service if the item is worth it.
