Anyone else try eth estoc recently? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) Now that I starting to get the feeling that the girl's defense is pretty solid (@240), so I tested an eth estoc VS girls marathon a few hour ago... It was pretty good, actually. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) Still not as good as eth mace. However ... - Slower than mace, but I still actually quite impressed with the speed TBH. Estoc still do less damage per hit. Not by much, though, and this might be due to my estoc setup has about 50 lower base damage though it has a bit more crit. ... However, once you proc PA, it will pretty much not going to expired until the girl die. This mean that, unlike mace, there's no damage wasted in between the turns stun expired and until stun proc again like mace do. This actually make the fight against non-konata girls almost as fast, if not the same, as eth mace. - Speed aside... everything else were, as expected, inferior than eth mace. It use much more mana and I had to cast regen a lot. My spirit shield drains quite a lot of SP, too. Still very easy since it was just a 1-1 fight anyway. - Estoc sucks in combination with nerf... Again, as expected. This may change in the future though. Eth estoc is so underestimated nowadays and I saw it on sale in WTS. So if you have problems with girls arena and have some credits, give this a try. I wonder if DW, with meh gear, would work..? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif) It probably will, but it would be annoying as fuck to play... (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif) PS. This post is fueled by 100% boredom! (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) This post has been edited by buktore: Oct 7 2011, 12:18

Dual Wield is fun, but it took me slightly longer to do the 50 rounds of girls with my eth club and decent rapier in comparison to my non eth mace, i wish i had an eth mace for it lol

Could you elaborate on this? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) I'm kinda suspect that DW might take longer overall (and more cumbersome to play) than 2H mainly because you had to hit all the shit mobs first... I didn't think that an eth club would take longer than vanilla mace though, so I'm kinda surprise and curious. I wanna try it myself for quite some time, but I lack the equipment to do it... (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) So any input about this is appreciated. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Also, how do people get their equipment all the way to level 100+? Did they really go through item world or they just had a very high level in Luck Of The Draw? Equipment that you get is around your level. So Level 100+ equipment comes from players around those levels, who can sell them to others, which is why there can be level 50s with level 250+ equipment. I would say very rarely is there a high level piece of equipment that's actually been leveled up all that way through Item World.

Truly a rarity indeed. The only person I've seen actually do that was Hito and his Legendary staff. Though it makes perfect sense in that case.

None of them looks decent to me. There's a much better rapier pop up from time to time in WTS (maybe even now) and no one seem to care...
Basically, what I'm saying is that its not hard to find a good rapier if you really want to actually get one. So there's no point (beside for your own amusement) keeping the non usable one that you don't use.

i think http://hentaiverse.org/pages/showequip.php...;key=1ec984727b is the better of them all. Just because of the higher attack and better stats. http://hentaiverse.org/pages/showequip.php...;key=d83fb1bff2 if you have higher parry. But i prefer higher duration for the penetration of 3-4 or so just because the damages get low once it ends. Here is one i like and own: http://hentaiverse.org/pages/showequip.php...;key=b7b44abc2cQUOTE(watisit @ Oct 7 2011, 13:11) [ imageshack.us] http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/830/85974435.jpg/Main strategy: Block with the shield. Did they really go through item world or they just had a very high level in Luck Of The Draw? In terms of armor you should get shield armor if you aim to block and counter-strike. I suggest heavy armor and shield attribute which can give anything like 2-6% in general or penetration if you find you can't block enough. Also your tower shield is not very high in terms of block, there are 30% and such if you keep looking. Here is one: http://hentaiverse.org/pages/showequip.php...;key=ccbc37c2ecJust don`t worry about the level you purchase the equipment they`ll grow on you and its just a bit of extra burden and interference in my opinion. Bracket status are what they give you and they slowly rise in respect to your leveling to suit the equip. This post has been edited by 545454: Oct 8 2011, 06:14

I seem to be getting a whole lot more Fine and Superior Equipment lately...
In general, what suffixes for Plate and Shield Armor are worth keeping to maybe sell later on? I'd imagine Barrier and Protection ones would be worth keeping, but I'm not sure about the Mitigation ones.
Also, since Dragon Hide has been rolled into Leather, are any of those worth keeping as well? Out of all forms of equipment, I've probably gotten the most Superior ones for Leather.

I prefer protection imo. Most of my heavy armor happen to be protection and i have 49.5% physical mitigation. Though i do try to balance it a bit by having protection armor with high magical mitigation (33.6% total). I think its pretty good stats. Terms of elemental mitigation i find they are too generalized but do help for some legendary monsters with certain elemental skills. Currently have helmet and shoes with thunder and dark mitigation ( didn`t like those dark damages from mikuru and nagato, the electric was just because in lower level i had mind raper kill me with his dam thunder skill.) I`d just keep the dragon hide in my opinion, it just sounds nice and makes it sound rare in terms of age. Like those old items with prism and diamond and other tags even after people level them up. It feels like ever since I increased Quartermaster my artifact drop rate has hit rock bottom. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) I've gone from getting 1-4 per day to just 1 every few days. I wish you could unlearn Trainings.

QUOTE(Anomtai @ Oct 8 2011, 09:33) Just a a quick question: Which Rapier is best pony? I mean Rapier.
None of them, I would say. I guess you're using it in off-hand DW, right? (and it's logical too) Then what matter most should be its PA rate and duration. However, the rapiers you've posted has 2 problems: 1. their level's too low 2. their base duration's too low. Try this one. Should be a base 2.5 rapier, so should be a 4-turner for you. Protection for plate, protection/barrier for shield (except superior shield armor of protection with very good block). At least that's how I keep them. You'll need to check if they have high mitigation though, as it's not guaranteed matter. As for dragon hide, it's worth keeping if it's of battlecaster suffix (of course) or spirit-ward/thrice-blessed with max mitigation. I do think dragon-hide's a bit better in burden/interference (should have base difference about 1), but that's hardly noticeable.

So selling Mitigation ones for elements not used by bosses and keeping all others would be my best bet?
Also, I just realized I worded one question horribly. What I meant to ask is that since Leather is the "new Dragon Hide", are there forms of Leather equipment that is worth keeping, or should I just dump them all?

Quartermaster has an extremely small effect on artifact drops. Like maybe you'll see 5% less artifacts if you max it.

@ varst Battlecaster armor is worth keeping, yes. But even if you're talking about a good one (no example, sorry) Is it worth using nowadays? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) I ask this simply because I really have no idea... I have a few of them. All junk, of course... Since I sold all the good one (including a pretty nice BC kevlar) for a nice chunk of PROFIT! ... So what I have left are the one that I couldn't sell. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) ..... Also, a question! What would be a better thing to train if I want to get more equipment drop: Scavenger 25 > 26 or Quartermaster 9 > 10 ... ??? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) I kinda want to train Quartermaster more, though, simply so that it reach the half point, like my Scav (25) and Arche (5) ...
