I would say hoard it until new hath perks are added, I remember last time that happened the price of hath went up 1-2k credits each in the exchange.

Also random question but, why is nimble usually preferred for offhand in dw builds? I figured balance would be better offensively.

Because dw appreciates defense from parry (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

finally completed DWD on PF and i have concluded that it isnt worth it for me to do right now. thought i was going to hit lvl 500 before i finished it. maybe when i finally get myself some slaughter armor and dont forget to use dark or holy infusions will i consider doing this again. Yeah but balance allows for 100% offhand chance and much higher crit, that's why I was wondering.

i'm speaking about Rapier/Waki here.
my Shade build with a very slightly forged Waki of Nimble has 91% Offhand chance and 51% Crit Chance (61% with Heartseeker on?). and i only have one Shadowdancer piece.
they seem pretty high anyways. on the other hand, Parry is 84% - and never enough.
also, with such Parry boost, forging Parry has a noticeable effect even at lv25 (maybe only a decimal digit on stats page, but still...) while Crit effect is close to zero even at lv12.

More likely 55.9% (51 + (100-51)*10/100).

And rapier offhand may be better of balance, since the extra hits, crit and PA may be worth the loss of parry.

while im here is THIS worth investing any bindings of slaughter into it?

Problem is t/s are capped server-side at 4 t/s, so anything >4 is bugged.

It's a fine rapier with a fantastic IW, it's a worth investment, if you find something better you cal always salvage it and get back 90% of the materials so nothing is really wasted.

A decent/good 1h rapier build should complete DWD in less than 10k turns.
22k turns is more than double that, so it's probably a bug in the turns counter.

wouldn't it be more plausible +10% of starting Crit chance? so 51 * 1.1 = 56.1 ?

as i said previously - i was speaking about Rapier/Waki.
with Rapier offhand, if mainhand is Club and you have a Speed decent enough for a certain amount of mobs to be stunned, then yep, maybe Balance is better.
but if mainhand is Axe or Shortsword, i wouldn't be so sure.

15 bindings -> 0.9 * (15 - 5) = 9 bindings returned is good.
16 bindings -> 0.9 * (16 - 5) ~ 9 bindings returned is bad. 1 binding ~ 130k lost.

it took me 160 turns to kill the last round which has 3 leg bosses.

there are more then 50 rounds with 3 leg bosses not including normal monsters which means it could easily take me 200+ turns a round for the last 50 rounds.

200 x 50 = 10k turns for last 50 rounds

it is safe to say the first 100 rounds took me atleast 10k turns to do.

Last round is usually the one that requires more turns since Drogon has a fuckton of HPs.
It takes something like 70-80 for me, and I can close DWD in 6k turns (more or less).
22k is absurd and not possible in 59 minutes of time because t/s are capped at 4.

Also DWD has 37 rounds with normal monsters only, 37 rounds with 1 SG, 38 rounds with 2SGs, 37 rounds with 3SGs plus the final rounds against the three dragons, definitely not 50 rounds with 3 bosses..

mkay it bust be bugged then. 60x60 = 3600 x (max t/s 4) = 14400 total turns

is there anyway for me to get the display correctly cause it tends to regularly show over 4 t/s when doing hellfest or any kind of long arena.



extra question, would fusrodah be better for hellfest instead of godslayer and OFC ?
