Cracklingcast is the best way. after you take one infusion, it pops up to be taken again when it expires. Or ctrl+f1, I think, but I don't use that.

I know about cracking but I prefer use sapo mod reloader since it have better t/s and mouse reaction compare it with cracking + vanilla reloader for me , djnoni (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

Are primary stats capped? One of the big things that appealed to me when I started playing was an infinite leveling system (even though - and perhaps especially because - leveling gets exponentially harder as you progress), so I'll be a bit disappointed if this isn't the case.

I tried to find the answer on the Wiki, but no luck. Character stats page doesn't have the answer. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Hey guys, I have a bit of an equipment question at the moment. I've been scouring every WTS thread on the forums looking for any kind of ethereal rapier after switching to 1H and running into trouble finding anything at all that's lower than level 250-300.

Anyways I just noticed I recently picked up one from drops and I'm wondering if it's worth using over what I have (which is admittedly just a shortsword I picked up in desperation)
The Rapier I found:
Superior Ethereal Rapier of Balance

My current weapon:
Exquisite Ethereal Shortsword of Slaughter

The more I think about this as I type it out the more I feel like I'm overestimating the difference of ~150 ABD/a 1% difference in CA chance from stats and vastly underestimating how much better penetrated armor is over bleed as well as the extra crit chance and accuracy by even considering this.

Agree, if you can't find anything better, a prefixed Superior rapier with a useful suffix is OK to use (and certainly better than any shortsword on higher difficulty).

Thanks, I had a feeling this would be the case. Pretty funny my crits with no stacks do less than my normal attacks with 3 on IWBTH. I'm still not defensively strong enough to do anything higher than Hell though so I think I'll need to grind my 1h proficiency (still only 76) and try and find some elusive level 200-250 exquisites to upgrade to first.

did you see that hc_br has a mag rapier of slaughter lv.300 for sale for 32k? Might be a good one to aim for?

You better compare IW to GF.
For Leg+ equipment, I think you need to reach round ~250 in GF before attempting to do IW on the same difficult.

Hello, I have a little problem and I'm not sure what happened but my Attack Base DMG is very low (1787), it's usually around 3k+ I think, I just noticed this after losing 6 rounds (in normal...) of Lv100+ arenas (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/anime_cry.gif) I did my best to survive but what the hell... I just kept losing, normally I could beat those arenas, even in Nightmare, does anyone know what happened? Or am I being forced to upgrade my gear?

PS: are my PABs points okay? I'm not really sure what to invest in, either Str or Dex, I use a katana+wakizashi (niten) to clear the arenas quickly, I don't care much for my weapon proficiency since I'll change to rapier+shield at lv300 (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) thanks.

i seriously suggest you not to use Niten at this point. since it relies on both DW and 2H prof, in order to make it work you should have high values on both, as latanium already pointed. your DW prof is very low, which means low ACC and low Crit. plus, you have BUR > 70, which means less Crit again. and PABs from gears are very low, which makes me think you either have equips bounded at low level or missing PABs.
in such conditions you may want to switch immediately to 1H + Power armors.
also, you can keep all your PABs even except INT

FSM hits hard by itself already. i'd rather opt for Normal. or last round of T&T, with only one goddess alive. and consider that even the tree will start hitting you with FSM-level SP attacks.

the level is not infinite it's maxed on lvl 500. and leveling to max level is considerably easier now eventough it's still take looong time..
