I had already upgraded the pants. That's why I didn't go for that Peerless in Super's auction. Here it is. Very close to Lmax, not that bad - just no prefix.

Are you sure you're using vanilla Firefox or Chrome? I can't guarantee that IndexedDB works on other browsers.

maybe only corrupted database? i'd try to check if the database actually exists and it weights someone in the 2MB range. and eventually to delete it manually.

Well, for both, it's a limitation of browsers and IndexedDB. As I've said before, IndexedDB is not fun to work with at all, I think cross-browser compatibility is sketchy and the errors it gives to the user are very nebulous. ("Error: undefined".) I've somehow gotten it to work on vanilla Firefox and Chrome, and most have gotten it to work on those browsers too, but when it doesn't work it's hard to figure out why.

It'd be so so much nicer if I could use localStorage instead, it takes 99% less code and doesn't have any chance of mysterious errors.

he never answered but as a consequence he almost immediately put up that banlist
also, he changed FS account password, actually cutting me and all the other past operators out of that. since a month ago (according to Tenboro password was changed roughly those days), he is by all means the only operator of FS, for those interested.

a few days ago i noted password doesn't work anymore and asked Tenboro when the change did happen.
he told me it happened "one month prior" so roughly when the topic was opened.
but actually he didn't say it was ok. my wild guess is he overlooked it because he had other things to think about. whatever.

Is Auto Recover All the script you are looking for? I found it in the Script Compendium, a well-stocked if slightly outdated collection of user-scripts.

for HP is useless. simply wait a few seconds and HP bar will refill automatically. for MP manually click restore while you wait for HP and it's done.

I've decided not to think about my smartsearch problem too much. Gonna think more of how the heck can I go for higher difficulty on SG arenas with my crappy weap.

I can't find any mag+ rapier of slaughters in WTS to soulfuse. Would it be worth soulfusing a non slaughter rapier? Or should I just settle with upgrading my superior rapier of slaughter.

Yea guess I still have a long way to go to consider expensive gear upgrades and higher difficulties. That first SG arena is just too time consuming right now that I've started thinking about it >.<

if you allow me, it's quite pointless of an argument. the only useful point in doing SGs is to earn trophies/tokens. but they drop anyways, regardless of difficulty. if i were you, i'd do at Hard difficulty. i'd rather raise difficulty on the other arenas.

Yes. Prefixed rapier with useful suffix is what matters. Slaughter is good, but Nimble and Balance are both also good. Look at auctions occasionally; weapon is the most important slot, so don't feel bad if you see a good Legendary rapier 100 levels above you that you want to soulfuse down. It's probably worth it.

So I usually play HV in a weird way, I put it in a windowed mode, open YouTube (also in windowed mode) & while I watch videos, I just press the numbers on the keypad, this is kinda good since I don't get bored very quickly, although it does take longer since I can get distracted by the video.

Anyways, enough background info, my question is... Is there a safer way to play the game this way? I'm not really paying much attention to my HP, MP or necessary skills (regen/spirit stance), I check them occasionally, the problem here is sometimes many monsters charge up their special moves (I think?) and unleash powerful attacks on me, which can kill me in 1 round (HVStat's "Low-health" pop-up doesn't help me in this case), if the pop-up appears, then the game "pauses" since I'll need to hit OK to play again.

Are there any good weapons/combinations that can make me recover health gradually or not die that often, something to aid me in my way of playing (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) like the rapier+shield that basically gives you unlimited spirit stance, I checked Vampire weapons and they suck out/siphon HP from the monsters (does it?), would that come in handy?

I'm also open to any other suggestion/tips you may or may not have, thanks...

Reloader, Hoverplay, Mousemelee... will make you able to play simply by hovering a mob with the mouse. also they'll automatically stop the game when your HP/MP/SP fall under a certain threshold and when certain spells are about to expire.

yep, Vampire has a certain chance to siphon a certain amount of HP from a mob. but not so worth it, imo.
simply use Rapier + Shield and Regen spell. you can also use CracklingCast to cast a health draught every certain amount of turns, iirc. but Regen should already be enough.
but yep, a minimum of attention is needed. you cannot fully automatize/ignore the game.

It takes one minute to regen HP without GS and/or RR perk (30 seconds with GS? 15 seconds with GS+RR?). At least mages might be able to clear almost one shorter arena in that time if they can clear T&T in ~5 minutes. I guess it's for convenience and speed, like most scripts are. Draughts are also cheap, so that isn't a big issue.

Personally I wouldn't do it since I can just use Mana Draught at the beginning of the next battle if my MP is low from the previous battle. Sometimes it feels like forever to wait for the HP regen to happen when I want to start an arena with full HP though (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)
