I'm trying to IW a shade piece on my own now that I can actually survive. (Also, I think if I request one more IW from Super-L, he's going to hunt me down and hit me with it. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) ) The question is.. if I start with a darkproof when I'm going for Juggernaut 5, should I wait it out or immediately throw an amnesia shard and start over? Or does it depend what I get other than juggernaut whether I wait or not? I'm only going with hard difficulty so only 300pxp at a time. PFUDOR still brutally strangles me with Legendary IWs. It's still a huge challenge of continuous regen, health draughts, and restore health on just Hard difficulty. Or better yet... Super-L, ...are you getting frustrated with my constant IW requests? I understand if you are, because they are a complete pain in the azz, and you're already a rich player.

And if you don't get full jug from first run, you reset. Then you go on and hope it goes up to 5. The other way is to soulfuse it and go iwbth and go for 4 potencies hoping for jug 3/4 first hit QUOTE(fodasher @ Sep 21 2016, 05:10) Does reforge reset upgrades as well as potencies?
No. Salvaging does that (and makes the item untradeable and throws it in bazaar where only you can buy it for 5x the buy price)

QUOTE(redphil @ Sep 21 2016, 03:03) The question is.. if I start with a darkproof when I'm going for Juggernaut 5, should I wait it out or immediately throw an amnesia shard and start over? Always No matter what you're doing, first potency (or first or second, if on high difficulty or soulfused) must always be desirable, otherwise reset. (if you don't reset, it's extremely likely you'll have to reset in the future, which means more shards paid, as well as more runs spent on an almost-certain failed attempt) QUOTE(redphil @ Sep 21 2016, 03:03) Or better yet... OK. First out of gate, or throw it away. Thank you! The best answer is "Send out for service", for this is a pain. Hard difficulty feels like IWBTH. I've already soulfused. Sigh. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) Edit: No... wait.. I soulfused the Rapier. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) I'm cleared! Since posts in the auction thread will likely be buried/not seen, I'll post here instead QUOTE(ppp82p @ Sep 20 2016, 16:11) I can bet on it, since you ( piyin) banned yourself from the biggest auctioneer out there (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Eh? If you're talking about mine, he's not currently on the shitlist. One would have to try really really hard to be rude enough to everyone else around for something like that. There were some who complained about mass bidding and resale with markup, but that's just the free market, which I'm not interfering with. I hope he didn't get the wrong idea from that exchange Or did something happen I'm not aware of (I didn't know there were problems, or at least none that bad)

you were put in piyin's banlist - most likely for having posted in sss2 thread, since there are many common points between that banlist and those people who posted. i guess ppp gave for assured that you would've banned him.

Listen to super all my experience and data support him. However, you may want to opt for dark instead of holy just because you can probably get a better set for less money. The concept is the same, it's just dark. Edt: In hindsight, since you already have an elec set it might be worthwhile to just try 1.0 prof with that set. I heard that non-imperil elem is passable. Hey guys 2 questions.
1. What stuff is worth salvaging? IE everything, only rare items (phase, power, ect), some specific rarity or better. 2. Is there any equipment type that's better to gamble on in the shrine? Only thing I could think of is cloth since high grades is worth a lot more then the others. Also the opposite, is there anything that's bad to gamble on.

Unsellable/unusable mag+ cloth/staff/shield is the only thing you should care about, some exquisite and average- may save small amount of credits, but you have to know current prices (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

it's worth to gamble either on what you need or what may have market. it's not worth on everything that has too high chance of giving unsellable things. long story short, better to sell trophies and let the duty of the gamble to someone else

Nope, I gave for assured that he stopped sniping stuff in his auction...in fact he stopped posting in super's auctions at all. Banning super and avoiding his auctions is equivalent of banning himself voluntarily (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) This post has been edited by ppp82p: Sep 21 2016, 18:19

Yeah but it would be extremely awkward for him to bid in super's action after what he did. Frankly, I'd like to see him try, should be fun. Regardless, I think piyin's role has been filled by zero1011 I guess. I've saw him bidding items en masse, although he hasn't set up stop yet, I wouldn't hold my breath considering he's been banned by Kei for profiteering.

not even awkward. only a bit rude imo. QUOTE(LOL50015 @ Sep 21 2016, 18:50) Regardless, I think piyin's role has been filled by zero1011 I guess. I've saw him bidding items en masse, although he hasn't set up stop yet, I wouldn't hold my breath considering he's been banned by Kei for profiteering.
well, as above. reselling for profiteering isn't explicitly prohibited. afterall, he's taking all the risks connected to let an item rotting in his inventory. a single patch and he may be bankrupt. personally i only care newbies aren't involved/scammed. best thing you can do to avoid it is to do like Kei - offering a partial refund if you soulfuse the item to encourage you to actually use it.

Well, I'm always been dubious about zero's behiavour...he buys, buys buys and resells only consumables. He sniped me a couple of times items he didn't even use himself nor resell. That's a bit annoying I guess (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)
