That's probably enough for now if you don't have a lot of spare funds. Cost increases while marginal benefit decreases...

Yep

Ethereal is useless, you lose out on a ton of EDB. Huge EDB gain is worth the slight stat loss across the board. If you have enough funds for Bindings of Destruction, the Destruction suffix will help you out a lot too (probably don't forge past 15 though).

Out of curiosity, would new players appreciate fully IW'd Average gear? The thought crossed my mind while I was grinding my Elemental Proficiency in throwaway Item Worlds.

That was the conclusion I came to as well. 100 Soul Fragments would set them straight, but Superior or better equipment would be just around the corner anyway.

Only with Juggernaut. Elemental mitigation is near worthless since magic damage is such a small proportion of overall incoming damage.

Another issue is that, from the population of those that request free stuff, a large proportion of them will likely just use it for a few minutes and then rarely come to HV again (except maybe another couple years down the line). At least, that's what I've seen.

IMO IW just takes too long. Sure, with Jug, it would help them out a bit, but the tiny amount they would benefit wouldn't be worth the 30 runs of IW a higher-level player would have to do to get there.

As has been pointed out, Armor IW will be next to useless at low levels. However, for weapons things are quite different. Gaining void damage is a great asset, whether you're level 40 or 400. So if you happen to have some Maces and/or Rapiers (preferably with a useful suffix like Slaughter/Balance/Nimble), taking them to IW10 would make them much more desirable as giveaways.

Yes, I was thinking mainly Rapiers for 1H and Maces for 2H. When I can PFUDOR those 10-round IWs, I would consider having at least a small stock of items to hand out. One more thing I can look forward to. Thanks for the input.

You'd have to do a whole lot of runs though. A random average in my inventory takes 36 runs to get to level 10.

Thankfully, I seem to have a strong willpower concerning tedious things. I would run a small trial before committing, of course, but I think it would be a nice service. Just depends on the demand versus the supply.

No, the MP gained is low and not worth the setup time, for melee or for mage. The SP gained is much more easily accomplished with draughts and potions (and if those two together aren't enough to consistently keep your bar mostly full, the difficulty level is too high).

The HP drain is too low to matter, especially since the effect ends when the monster dies. Much easier to just kill the monsters and then Cure if you're low.
