Depends on "junk" and "junk".
Wood and cloth magnificent+ junk are always salvage since they sell for aprox 20k and 10k each... much more than their bazaar income.
Generally superior junk are
always sell.
Exquisite junk of bazaar prize under 660 might wanna be salvaged instead of getting bazaared, but it also depends.
Generally you need to consider this:
What do you get if you salvage the gear? That matterial... what is it's worth?
CAN YOU SELL IT THOUGH?
Mid and high grade leather for example have a very small market, hence low prize, but also difficulty to sell at low prizes since most people opt to get these matterials in big numbers in auctions and purhaps at even lower prizes yet.
Scrap materials have a medium prize of 80-85c. If you get an average gear that sells for more than 255c then, you are better of selling it to the bazaar than salvaging it since you are gonna get better income that by the salvage matterial.
Well there are a lot of calculations to do if you want to get credit per credit advantage, and of course you need to be up to date with prizes of the WTS/
WTB.
If like me you happen to be a lazzy bumb instead, just remember to salvage wood and cloth when they are trash. All superior are bazaar instead. The rest is up to your use and time needs. Nothing bad if you salvage all or sell all.
